On the afternoon of June 12th, the Trade Union of the Party and Government Bloc held its second expanded Executive Committee meeting for the 2025-2028 term to report on its activities since its establishment and to discuss the dissolution and transfer of grassroots trade unions.

The Trade Union of the Party and Government Bloc was established and began operating on February 28, 2025, with 52 grassroots trade unions and over 8,200 members including officials, civil servants, and workers. Over the past period, the bloc's trade union has closely followed the directives of the Provincial Federation of Labor, successfully organizing several notable activities such as: sending 100 members to attend the May flag-raising ceremony and participate in the dialogue conference between the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and union members and workers; organizing a pickleball tournament to create a beneficial playground for union members; guiding grassroots trade unions in consolidating their organizational structure after mergers and consolidations; and allocating 90 support grants from the Provincial Federation of Labor to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, each grant worth 700,000 VND. In addition, grassroots trade union branches have prominently organized several activities for the 2025 Workers' Month. For example, the grassroots trade union of Khanh Hoa Salangane Nest State-owned Limited Company organized the "Trade Union Meal" program to express gratitude and thanks to workers, providing over 1,940 quality meals priced from 30,000 to 50,000 VND for employees…

Mr. Bui Dang Thanh - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Chairman of the Trade Union of the Party and Government Bloc, presented flowers to thank Ms. Le Thi Minh Hien - former Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of the Party and Government Bloc, who retired according to regulations.

At the conference, the Trade Union of the Party and Government Bloc disseminated and guided grassroots trade unions on implementing the directives of the Provincial Federation of Labor regarding the dissolution or transfer of grassroots trade unions in the coming period. At the same time, it requested units to focus on completing the procedures and documents for the handover and dissolution, especially regarding financial settlement in accordance with regulations; for trade unions not yet subject to dissolution, they should wait for guidance from higher levels but still ensure their activities continue in the coming period…
