
The Chau Thanh (Tra Vinh) gold leaf collection was recognized as a national treasure by the Prime Minister in the 12th round of recognitions in 2023, under Decision No. 73/QD-TTg, dated January 18, 2024. (Illustrative photo: Editorial Board)
Specifically, 33 artifacts and groups of artifacts have been recognized as national treasures, including:
1. The Dak Son stone xylophone, dating back approximately 3,500 - 3,000 years ago; currently preserved at the Dak Nong Provincial Museum.
2. Ceramic pot, dating from the Dong Son culture (approximately 2,500 - 2,000 years ago); currently housed at the Pham Gia Chi Bao private collection, Ho Chi Minh City.
3. Vu Ban Bronze Drum, dating from the Dong Son culture, 3rd-2nd centuries BC; currently housed at the Ha Nam Provincial Museum.
4. Dong Son bronze drum (Kinh Hoa Collection), dating: 3rd - 2nd century BC; currently housed at the private collection of Nguyen Van Kinh, Hanoi.
5. Dong Son bronze drum (Hoang Long Collection), dating: 3rd - 2nd century BC; currently housed at the Luong Hoang Long private collection, Hoi An city, Quang Nam province.
6. Dong Son bronze jar (Hoang Long Collection), dating: 3rd - 1st century BC; currently housed at the Luong Hoang Long private collection, Hoi An city, Quang Nam province.
7. The Lai Nghi gold jewelry collection, dating from the 3rd century BC to the mid-1st century AD; currently housed at the Quang Nam Museum.
8. Lai Nghi animal-shaped agate beads, dating from the 3rd century BC to the mid-1st century AD; currently housed at the Quang Nam Museum.
9. Bronze statue of the Long Giao pangolin, dating from approximately the 1st-2nd century; currently housed at the Dong Nai Museum.
10. Buddha head from Linh Son Bac, dating from the 1st-3rd centuries; currently preserved at the Oc Eo Cultural Relics Management Board of An Giang province.
11. The jar burial at Go Cay Tram, dating from the 4th-5th centuries; currently preserved at the Oc Eo Cultural Relics Management Board, An Giang province.
12. Avalokitesvara statue from Bac Binh, dating from the 8th-9th centuries; currently housed at the Binh Thuan Provincial Museum.
13. Shiva dancing in Phong Le relief, dating from the 10th century; currently housed at the Cham Sculpture Museum, Da Nang.
14. Uma Chánh Lộ relief sculpture, dating to the 11th century; currently housed at the Cham Sculpture Museum, Da Nang.
15. Collection of Phoenix Heads from the Ly Dynasty, Thang Long Imperial Citadel, dating from the 11th-12th centuries; currently preserved at the Thang Long Heritage Conservation Center - Hanoi.
16- Six (06) Diamond Statues of Doi Son Pagoda, dating: Ly Dynasty (1118 - 1121); currently preserved at Doi Son Pagoda, Tien Son commune, Duy Tien town, Ha Nam province.
17. Linh Xung Pagoda stele, dated: March 3rd, 1126 (the 7th year of the Thien Phu Due Vu era of Emperor Ly Nhan Tong); currently preserved at the National Museum of History.
18. Da Boi wooden plaque, dated: November 25th, Year of the Pig, 12th year of the Thieu Long reign (1269); currently preserved at the National Museum of History.
19. Dragon statue from Thap Mam, dating from the 12th-13th centuries; currently housed at the Cham Sculpture Museum, Da Nang.
20. Kala Mountain Ba relief sculpture, dating from the 14th century; currently housed at the Phu Yen Provincial Museum.
21. Royal vase from the early Le Dynasty, Thang Long Imperial Citadel, dating to the 15th century; currently preserved at the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center.
22. A pair of stone dragons forming the steps of Trích Sài communal house, dating back to the 15th century; currently preserved at Trích Sài communal house, Bưởi ward, Tây Hồ district, Hanoi city.
23. Collection of ceramics from Truong Lac Palace during the early Le Dynasty, Thang Long Imperial Citadel, dating from the 15th-16th centuries; currently preserved at the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center.
24. Stone plaque of Dieu Pagoda, dated: Auspicious day in August of the year of the Water Monkey, 13th year of the Chinh Hoa era (reign of King Le Hy Tong, 1692); currently preserved at Dieu Pagoda, Vu Ban commune, Binh Luc district, Ha Nam province.
25. A pair of bronze mythical lion statues, dating from the 17th century; currently housed at the Hanoi Museum.
26. The Ngo Mon Gate Bell from the Minh Mang era, dated April 6th, the 3rd year of Minh Mang's reign (1822); currently preserved at the Hue Imperial Palace Antiquities Museum, Hue Ancient Citadel Conservation Center.
27. The golden seal "Emperor's Treasure", dated: March, the 4th year of Minh Mạng (1823); currently preserved at the Nam Hồng Royal Museum, Bắc Ninh province.
28. Relief sculpture from the Minh Mạng era, dated 1829; currently preserved at the Hue Royal Antiquities Museum, Hue Ancient Citadel Conservation Center.
29. A pair of dragon statues from the reign of Emperor Thieu Tri, dating back to 1842; currently housed at the Hue Imperial Antiquities Museum, Hue Ancient Citadel Conservation Center.
30. Set of statues of the Three Patriarchs of Truc Lam, dating from the 19th century; currently enshrined at Vinh Nghiem Pagoda, Tri Yen commune, Yen Dung district, Bac Giang province.
31. The throne of Emperor Duy Tan, dating from the early 20th century; currently housed at the Hue Imperial Antiquities Museum, Hue Ancient Citadel Conservation Center.
32. A set of gilded artifacts from Nghè Temple, dating from the early 20th century; currently housed at the Hai Phong Museum.
33. Three automobiles used to serve President Ho Chi Minh, dating from 1954 to 1969; currently preserved at the Ho Chi Minh Presidential Palace Historical Site.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Chairpersons of the People's Committees at all levels where national treasures are located, the Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, agencies directly under the Government, and heads of sectors and organizations assigned to manage the recognized national treasures, within their respective duties and powers, to manage the national treasures in accordance with the law on cultural heritage.
