In Ha Tinh province, there are currently four component projects of the North-South Expressway (Eastern section) under construction: Dien Chau - Bai Vot (2017-2020), Bai Vot - Ham Nghi, Ham Nghi - Vung Ang, and Vung Ang - Bung (2021-2025), with a total length of 107.22 km. According to the plan, the Dien Chau – Bai Vot expressway component project, including the 4.84km section through Duc Tho district (Ha Tinh province) with a total investment of over 11,100 billion VND, will be completed by May 22, 2024. Thanks to the efforts of the investor, contractors, supervisory consultants, and hundreds of officials, engineers, and workers, the North-South expressway project section through Ha Tinh is progressing on schedule.
On the North-South expressway construction site in Ha Tinh province, the sounds of machinery continue to fill the air, and workers are still busily working to complete their tasks. These days are a period of accelerated progress, aiming to make the most of the time and pour all their efforts into the project before the rainy and stormy season arrives.
“This year, during the National Day holiday on September 2nd, the unit did not take a break but focused on construction, accelerating progress and ensuring the project's schedule is met. With the upcoming rainy season in Ha Tinh, the unit is taking advantage of sunny periods to mobilize all resources and equipment, carrying out construction day and night to complete the work items,” said Mr. Do Quoc Tuan, Director of the Construction Management Board of Son Hai Group, the contractor for the Vung Ang - Bung expressway project.
“With the long holiday, everyone wants to go home and reunite with their families, but due to the nature of our work and the need to meet daily deadlines, the staff, engineers, and workers are all encouraging each other to keep trying. Fortunately, everyone's family understands and sympathizes, which is also a motivation for us to strive to complete the task and bring the project to completion on schedule,” said engineer Bui Quoc Hung, the site manager of construction unit number 1 of Vinaconex Company.
