Recently, the tech giant posted on its blog explaining why every user needs artificial intelligence (AI) like Copilot. Although it still has many bugs, Microsoft has included Copilot in Windows 10 to increase its reach, given the large number of users of this operating system, according to Neowin.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said Copilot will coordinate all applications.
CEO Satya Nadella likens Copilot to the Start button in Windows, coordinating all of the user's application experience.
Sharing his experience, he said that all he had to do was go to Copilot, express his intention, and it would direct him to an application or bring that application to Copilot, helping him to learn, ask questions, create... Nadella further emphasized that this completely changed users' habits, according to PC World .
Clearly, Microsoft sees Copilot as something with a lot of potential, similar to the revolutionary Start button on Windows before (most people were annoyed that the Start button was gone on Windows 8 and later).
At AMD's Advancing AI event last week, during the launch of the new AMD 8040 series and the introduction of the upcoming 8050 series (prepared for Windows with integrated AI - Windows 12), company vice president Pavan Davuluri reiterated and further explained Microsoft's intention regarding how the company views Copilot as the gateway to unlocking the true power of AI on Windows.
Davuluri revealed that for the Microsoft team and the Microsoft ecosystem, Copilot is truly a special experience. Similar to the Start button being the gateway to Windows, Copilot is the access point to the world of AI on the PC for users.
Rumors suggest that the next generation of Windows will have something called "Enhanced Copilot," which could improve existing features.
