Continuing the program of meeting with voters before the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly, Ms. Pham Thi Hong Yen - Standing Member of the National Assembly's Economic Committee, National Assembly Representative from Binh Thuan province, held a meeting with voters in Ma Lam town, Ham Thuan Bac district.

At the meeting, voters listened to National Assembly representative Pham Thi Hong Yen's summary report on the expected content and program of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly . According to the plan, the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly will open on May 5, 2025, and is expected to close on June 28, 2025, with a total working time of 34.5 days, conducted in two phases: phase 1 from May 5-28; phase 2 from June 11-28, held centrally at the National Assembly building. During this session, the National Assembly will address several specific issues, such as: reviewing and deciding on amendments and additions to several articles of the 2013 Constitution; reviewing and approving 30 draft laws and 7 draft normative resolutions. In addition, the National Assembly will also consider many other important issues and decide on key national matters.

In addition, National Assembly Deputy Pham Thi Hong Yen informed voters about the results of the provincial National Assembly delegation's activities in the past period. She also answered voters' questions and suggestions raised in previous meetings regarding tuition fees. Deputy Pham Thi Hong Yen stated: After hearing the Government's report on the financial balance during and after the streamlining of the political system's organizational structure, the Politburo decided to completely waive tuition fees for students from preschool to high school in public schools nationwide. This will be implemented from the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year (September 2025 onwards). Accordingly, from September 1, 2025, the State will waive tuition fees for all public school students from 5-year-old preschool to junior high school (up to grade 9). For students in private schools, tuition fees will be subsidized at the same level as public schools according to the law; The difference in tuition fees between public and private schools will be paid by the student's family.

Many voters in Ma Lam town expressed their agreement with the proposed reorganization of provincial and commune-level administrative units, considering it a sound policy aimed at streamlining the apparatus, enhancing the efficiency of state management, and better serving the people. This opens up opportunities for sustainable socio -economic development in the direction of regional linkages.

In addition, voters have also petitioned relevant authorities to thoroughly address shortcomings in tax collection; and to resolve remaining issues in the registration and issuance of land use right certificates as stipulated by regulations…

Responding to the opinions and suggestions of voters, representatives of the Ham Thuan Bac district leadership and relevant departments discussed and clarified some issues raised by voters, and accepted the suggestions for future action. National Assembly Deputy Pham Thi Hong Yen acknowledged and compiled all the voters' opinions at the session, and will send them to the relevant central and provincial authorities for consideration and resolution.
