The authorities of this locality conducted an inspection of a "shopping paradise" specializing in serving Chinese elderly people in Mong Cai called "Dai Duong International Store Agency" (No. 31, Hoa Avenue Binh, Area 3, Tran Phu Ward, Mong Cai City).
This place is like a mini supermarket selling many products from pharmaceuticals, jewelry, groceries...
In particular, the stores use illegal Chinese workers. Even on many products there are politically sensitive images such as: Vietnam People's Army, Hanoi Flagpole, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, inaccurate Vietnam map...
Exchange with Youth, a representative of the interdisciplinary delegation affirmed that the products sold at the "International Ocean Store Agency" used the National flag and politically sensitive words on products of unknown origin. Regarding politically sensitive images advertised inside the booths, the authorities have requested the owners to immediately remove them.
Notably, at the time of inspection, the store representative could not present the work permits of the 10 Chinese people working or the certificates of fire safety standards; Price listing is unclear; selling many types of items of unknown origin.
Previously, on March 12.3, an interdisciplinary delegation from Mong Cai City also discovered that many fake and unknown goods were sold at this facility. After that, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province issued a decision to impose an administrative fine of more than 150 million VND.
