On October 28th, at the Provincial Children's House, the Provincial Youth Union organized the 2nd Red Phoenix Flower Singing Contest, 2023.
This year's Red Phoenix Flower Singing Contest features 11 participating units representing district, town, and city youth unions, as well as university and college youth unions throughout the province. These units will compete in three categories: singing, solo dancing, and singing with dance accompaniment.
After a day of lively and engaging competition, meticulously prepared with rich content praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, the Youth Union, the Youth Association, the Young Pioneers, and the national traditions and homeland; praising the school, teachers, childhood, friendship… the dynamism and creativity of the Youth Union members and young people in the field of art were demonstrated.
As a result, Ham Thuan Nam District Youth Union excellently won first prize; two second prizes went to Phan Thiet City Youth Union and La Gi Town Youth Union; two third prizes went to Bac Binh District Youth Union and Binh Thuan College Youth Union; three consolation prizes went to Duc Linh District Youth Union, Ham Thuan Bac District Youth Union, Phan Thiet University Youth Union; and one prize for the best solo performance went to the song "Mái đình làng biển" by Duc Linh District Youth Union.
The Red Phoenix Flower Singing Contest is organized to create a playground for youth union members and students in schools. It is also an opportunity for officials and youth union members from schools throughout the province to interact and learn from each other; at the same time, it provides in-depth education to students about the history and revolutionary traditions of Vietnamese students, and about love for their homeland, country, and people. Through this, it contributes to the development of character and enhances national pride through artistic performances. Simultaneously, it will discover and nurture young talents in the field of culture and arts to serve the cultural and artistic movement of the province.
