Hanoi Social Insurance replied:

Pursuant to Decree No. 146/2018/ND-CP of the Government , the monthly health insurance premium for students is equal to 4.5% of the current basic salary. Of which, students pay 70% and the State supports this group of subjects with 30% deducted from the State budget fund.

The basic salary calculated in the 2024-2025 school year (currently the latest basic salary from July 1, 2024 according to Decree No. 73/2024/ND-CP) is 2,340,000 VND/month.

Thus, the health insurance premium for students in the 2024-2025 school year (12 months) is 4.5% x 2,340,000 x 12 = 1,263,600 VND/year

Of which, students pay 70% which is 884,520 VND/12 months and the State budget supports 30% which is 379,080 VND/12 months.
