The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Health , departments, institutes, and leading experts in the field of obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive support domestically and internationally.
In 2000, the National Center for Reproductive Support, Central Obstetrics Hospital was established, assigned by the Ministry of Health to provide professional guidance and comprehensive management of the field of reproductive support in Vietnam and has closely coordinated with the Ministry of Health to develop and standardize many professional processes. The Center is also a key training facility, transferring techniques to lower-level hospitals in the North and developing a nationwide reproductive support network, helping patients in remote areas no longer have to travel thousands of kilometers to find hope.

To date, the center has successfully transferred IVF techniques to dozens of units across the country, contributing to the formation of a widespread and synchronous reproductive support network.
Since the first egg retrieval in 2000, the National Center for Reproductive Support has continuously innovated, always pioneering in approaching, updating and mastering modern reproductive support techniques, from basic to advanced such as: In vitro fertilization (IVF); intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI); storage of sperm, eggs, embryos;...; pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGT) to increase the IVF success rate to 50-60%.
In 2024, the center performed: 22,000 infertility examinations; more than 1,200 egg retrieval cycles; nearly 2,000 embryo transfer cycles.
Results for the first 6 months of 2025 show: Clinical pregnancy rate reached 57.4%; live birth rate reached 33% per cycle; complication rates such as ovarian hyperstimulation and multiple pregnancies were controlled below 10%.
Within the framework of the ceremony, the National Reproductive Support Center officially received the international RTAC (Reproductive Technology Accreditation Committee) Certificate - a prestigious certificate issued by the Australian and New Zealand Reproductive Association (ANZARD).

According to Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Director of the Central Maternity Hospital, it is very difficult to carry out the process according to RTAC standards.
With the support and advice from AZ experts from Australia on international standards and procedures, the Center has successfully implemented a number of key activities in a short time such as: Building and standardizing more than 40 professional procedures and 30 management procedures, ensuring compliance with Vietnamese laws and meeting international standards; reviewing, cross-checking and ensuring transparency and consistency of procedures through the coordination of departments and divisions; renovating and upgrading the Center's facilities, including the examination area, school area and procedure room, to meet international standards.
People's Physician, Professor, Doctor Nguyen Duy Anh, Director of the Central Obstetrics Hospital, assessed that each step forward of the center not only marks a remarkable professional maturity, but also contributes to affirming the stature and reputation of Vietnamese reproductive medicine on the regional and world map.
"Achieving RTAC certification not only marks an important milestone in the development journey, but also opens up opportunities for cooperation, research and deep integration with the global IVF community," said Professor Anh.

Master, Doctor Nguyen Viet Quang - Director of the National Center for Reproductive Support sets the goal, with a focus on 3 strategic pillars: Improving professional quality - Comprehensive digital transformation - Personalized medicine, the center aims to become the leading Reproductive Support Center in the Asia-Pacific region.
