Former captain of Vietnam U.23 team Dung Quang Nho brings Tet back to his village

Taking advantage of his Tet holiday break back home, former Vietnam U.23 captain Dung Quang Nho organized a friendly match and distributed gifts to underprivileged but studious students and elderly people living alone in Phan Hoa commune, Bac Binh district, Binh Thuan province.

Speaking to Thanh Nien newspaper , HAGL midfielder Dung Quang Nho excitedly shared that the friendly match held on February 7th (the 28th day of the Lunar New Year) attracted many people to watch and cheer. "Especially through this match, we raised over 26 million VND. The organizers divided it into 53 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, and handed them directly to poor but studious students, elderly people living alone, and those with illnesses in Phan Hoa commune, Bac Binh district, Binh Thuan province," Dung Quang Nho said.

Phan Hoa commune, Bac Binh district, Binh Thuan province is also the birthplace of the physically strong midfielder Dung Quang Nho. This talented player, born in 2000, was admitted to the third intake of the HAGL Academy and subsequently selected for the Vietnam U.19 and U.23 national teams. He captained the Vietnam U.23 team that won the 2022 Southeast Asian U.23 Championship, becoming a source of pride for Binh Thuan football fans. At the club level, Dung Quang Nho also played three seasons with HAGL before moving to Hai Phong on loan and returning to the mountainous region for the 2023-2024 V-League season.

On February 11th (the second day of the Lunar New Year), Dung Quang Nho will rejoin HAGL FC to prepare for the match against Ha Tinh FC in Round 9 of the V-League 2023-2024, which will take place on February 18th. Dung Quang Nho's goal is to play regularly, contribute to the club, and continue developing his career.
