Mr. Tran Van Ninh, Team Leader of the Huu Lung Area Power Management Team, said: Responding to this meaningful program, on the very first day of December 2025, the Huu Lung Area Power Management Team repaired electricity, replaced light bulbs, and replaced electrical wires free of charge for 11 poor and particularly disadvantaged households in Yen Binh commune affected by Typhoon No. 11. In addition, the team also installed 30 solar-powered LED lights in two villages in Tuan Son and Yen Binh communes that lacked public lighting systems. In the coming days, the team will organize repairs to the electrical system and donate electrical equipment to five schools in the communes under its management.
Not only the Huu Lung Regional Power Management Team, but all regional power management teams are focusing on providing free electrical repair services to poor households and families with particularly difficult circumstances, based on lists compiled in coordination with local authorities, during this year's "Customer Appreciation Month". Accordingly, all households classified as poor or particularly disadvantaged, especially those in areas affected by recent floods and storms, will have their electrical equipment inspected, repaired, and replaced if it is unsafe. They will also receive guidance on safe electricity usage and fire prevention measures.
In implementing the "Customer Appreciation Month" program in 2025, Lang Son Power Company focused on community-oriented activities, helping households improve their electricity usage and reduce electrical risks. At the same time, the company also paid attention to repairing electrical systems and donating gifts to schools in the province (with an estimated budget of 450 million VND for this activity). One of the highlights of the "Customer Appreciation Month" program was the installation of solar-powered LED streetlights in villages lacking public lighting systems.
Along with repairing electrical systems, Lang Son Power Company also directed its regional power management teams to organize gift-giving for households in extremely difficult circumstances in remote and disadvantaged villages of the province. These gifts, though not substantial in material value, carry profound spiritual value, demonstrating solidarity with the poor people in the highlands who are facing many hardships in life.
In addition to residential customers, during the "Customer Appreciation Month" in 2025, Lang Son Power Company also implemented activities to support manufacturing businesses with high electricity consumption in the province. Accordingly, regional power management teams will carry out free industrial cleaning for dedicated transformer substations, helping businesses operate their power systems safely, prevent incidents, and maintain a stable power system during production.
Mr. Vu Khanh Toan, Deputy Director of Lang Son Power Company, said: The "Customer Appreciation Month" program in 2025 that the company is implementing is a series of activities with a profound social welfare impact, aimed at supporting customers in improving their electricity usage conditions. This appreciation activity demonstrates the electricity sector's enduring partnership with the community, thereby contributing to maintaining a long-term cooperative relationship between the electricity sector and the people and businesses, and ultimately aiming to further improve the quality of electricity services in the province.
Reportedly, this is the 11th year that Lang Son Power Company has implemented the "Customer Appreciation Month" with many practical activities to support electricity users.
