In the northern region, the price of live pigs today, October 14, 2024, continued its downward trend, decreasing by 1,000 VND/kg and trading in the range of 66,000 – 67,000 VND/kg.

Provinces and cities that recorded a decrease of 1,000 VND/kg include: Hanoi , Thai Binh, and Tuyen Quang, all at 66,000 VND/kg. The highest prices in the region are recorded in provinces such as Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Thai Nguyen, and Ha Nam, at 67,000 VND/kg.

The remaining localities in the region are all trading at the same price of 66,000 VND/kg.

Pork prices in this region also followed the downward trend in the North. Several provinces saw a decrease of 1000 VND/kg, including Quang Tri, Quang Nam, and Khanh Hoa, bringing the price down to 64,000 VND/kg. Thua Thien Hue, Binh Dinh, Dak Lak , and Ninh Thuan provinces also maintained the same price.

Traders from Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh provinces are buying live pigs at 66,000 VND/kg, which is the highest price in the region.

Currently, live pigs in this market are being traded at around 64,000 – 66,000 VND/kg.

Today, October 14, 2024, the price of live pigs in the Central and Central Highlands regions of Vietnam has decreased in some localities.

In the southern region, today's live pig prices fluctuated, decreasing by 1,000 VND/kg in An Giang and Vinh Long, reaching 64,000 VND/kg.

In other localities, the price fluctuates around 63,000 – 65,000 VND/kg.

Today, October 14, 2024, the price of live pigs in the Southern region decreased in some provinces.

Overall, the nationwide pork market is on a rapid downward trend. According to surveys, pork prices in all three regions currently range from 63,000 to 67,000 VND/kg.
