Da Lat receives honor.

(NLĐO) - The Da Lat Flower Festival has been honored by the Asian Festival Awards in the categories of "Asian Flower and Garden Festival 2025" and the Asian Peak Award.

On March 21, leaders of the Da Lat City People's Committee ( Lam Dong province ) announced that Da Lat had received awards from the Asia Festival Awards 2025 program during the 2025 Global Festival Summit held in South Korea.

Mr. Nguyen Van Son, Vice Chairman of the Da Lat City People's Committee, received the award on behalf of the city from representatives of the Asian Festival Awards in South Korea.

Specifically, Da Lat, with its Da Lat Flower Festival, has been honored with the "Asia Flower and Garden Festival of 2025" award and the Asia Pinnacle Awards in the "Best Eco-Friendly Festival" category, as selected by the International Federation of Festivals and Events Asia (IFEA ASIA).

The Asian Festival Award recognizes Da Lat's long-standing efforts to build an image of a green, friendly, and sustainable city, making it a leading tourist destination in Asia.

The Da Lat Flower Festival contributes to promoting the nature, culture, and people of Lam Dong province to the whole country and internationally.

Da Lat has hosted the Flower Festival 10 times. The Asian Festival Awards recognize the Da Lat Flower Festival as a typical cultural and tourism event of Lam Dong province and the whole country, contributing to promoting the cultural, natural and human values ​​of Da Lat - Lam Dong in particular and Vietnam in general to the international community.

In addition to these awards, in 2023, Da Lat was recognized as a UNESCO Creative City of Music ; in 2024, Da Lat was ranked among the Top 5 most impressive Festival Cities in Asia.
