Gold price forecast for tomorrow, March 7, 2025: World gold prices continue to be supported as the US Dollar Index falls 1.2% to its lowest level since November, while domestic gold ring prices remain at their highest historical peak of 93 million VND/ounce.
At the close of trading on March 6, 2025, world gold prices and domestic gold prices tended to remain stable or decrease slightly.
Specifically, Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) and DOJI Group both listed the price of gold bars at 90.7 - 92.7 million VND/ounce (buying price - selling price), unchanged from the previous session. The difference between the buying and selling prices is 2 million VND.
At Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, the buying price of SJC gold is 91.1 million VND/ounce and the selling price is 92.5 million VND/ounce. Thus, compared to yesterday's session, the gold price decreased by 40,000 VND/ounce for buying and 20,000 VND/ounce for selling.
Bao Tin Minh Chau Co., Ltd. listed the price of SJC gold at 90.7 million VND/ounce (buying price) and 92.7 million VND/ounce (selling price). This price decreased by 200,000 VND/ounce in the buying price and remained unchanged in the selling price compared to yesterday.
Phu Quy SJC gold prices are currently listed at 91.5-93 million VND/ounce for both buying and selling, a decrease of 100,000 VND/ounce in the buying price and unchanged in the selling price.

Not only SJC gold bars, but gold rings from other brands also tend to decrease slightly.
Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) has lowered the price of gold rings weighing 1-5 taels to 90.7-92.6 million VND/tael (buy - sell), a decrease of 300,000 VND per tael in both buying and selling prices compared to this morning.
This afternoon, DOJI Gold and Gemstone Group listed the buying and selling prices of 9999 gold rings at 91.4-93 million VND/ounce, a decrease of 450,000 VND per ounce in the buying price and a decrease of 300,000 VND per ounce in the selling price compared to noon today.

According to Reuters, gold prices fell by about 1% as investors took profits after three days of gains, with the market now watching US jobs data on Friday for clues about the Federal Reserve's interest rate path amid growing concerns about global trade.
Spot gold, down 0.9% to $2,893.63 an ounce as of 0958 GMT, has risen more than 10% since the beginning of the year. It hit a record high of $2,956.15 on February 24.
US gold futures fell 0.9% to $2,900.7.
"Gold appears to be undergoing profit-taking as investors closely monitor tariff developments, with prices trading around $2,900 ahead of the non-farm payrolls report," said Lukman Otunuga, senior research analyst at FXTM.
The market's focus remains on the escalating global trade war after the United States imposed 25% tariffs on imports from Mexico and Canada on Tuesday, along with new tariffs on Chinese goods.
Meanwhile, Asian stocks rose as investors hoped that trade tensions might ease after US President Donald Trump exempted some automakers from tariffs for a month.
Investors are turning to gold as a safe-haven asset in the face of geopolitical and economic uncertainty.
Otunuga said: "Unless there is a catalyst for a new direction, the current downward price movement could drag gold prices lower. If prices fall below $2,900, this could signal a further decline to $2,880."
The market is currently awaiting the non-farm payrolls report, which is expected to show an additional 160,000 jobs in February, according to economists surveyed by Reuters.
"We project a platinum deficit of 500,000 ounces, or 6.4% of demand, by 2025, marking the third consecutive year of market shortfalls for the metal. Our market deficit will continue to push above-ground inventories below 3 million ounces and help push prices higher to $1,100/oz this year," UBS said in a note. Platinum prices fell 0.5% to $960.73/ounce.
