


The teams are competing in pounding flattened rice flakes.

The Organizing Committee enjoyed the products of the competing teams.
The competition involved 15 teams from hamlets and schools in the commune, each team consisting of 4 members. The teams successively performed the steps of roasting, pounding, and sifting according to traditional methods within 30 minutes.
The Organizing Committee will judge based on the following criteria: technique and smooth operation; coordination among team members; product quality meeting standards, delicious mix, attractive presentation; beautiful traditional costumes, etc.



The teams competed in traditional folk games.
The competition also included traditional folk games such as carrying water in earthenware pots, sack racing, and tug-of-war, creating a joyful and cohesive atmosphere among the ethnic communities.
The Organizing Committee presents awards for the flattened rice pounding competition.
At the end of the competition, the organizing committee awarded first prize to the Phuoc Loi hamlet team; the Truong An Tuc cluster won second prize; Phuoc An and Phuoc Tho hamlets won third prize; and the "Best Traditional Costume" award went to the Phuoc Loi hamlet team.
The activities aim to preserve, maintain, and promote traditional cultural values, and improve the material and spiritual lives of the Khmer ethnic people. In addition, they promote the image of the flattened rice flake making craft, contributing to the development of community-based cultural tourism .
