The Lồng Tông Festival in Côn Lôn commune in 2026 is divided into two parts: the ceremonial part and the festive part.
The main ceremony included activities such as: the village leaders reading blessings, distributing New Year's gifts, and performing the "Tich Dien" plowing ritual to bring good fortune and blessings to Con Lon commune, wishing for prosperity, abundant harvests, and favorable weather.

The festival included activities such as: organizing the traditional game of "Tung Con" (a type of ball), a competition for the most beautiful food platter and local specialty products, a competition for embroidering traditional costumes of the local ethnic groups, and folk games like blindfolded duck catching, blindfolded drum beating, tug-of-war, and leather volleyball. A highlight of this year's festival was the competition for catching stream fish by hand, and hands-on activities involving fishing with traditional local tools attracted a large number of visitors from all over to participate and cheer.

The Lồng Tông Festival is organized annually by the government and people of Côn Lôn commune with the aim of preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values of the ethnic groups in the area, and also as an opportunity to introduce the potential and strengths of the local economy , culture, and tourism to visitors from near and far.
