Provincial People's Council delegates meet voters of Phan Rang-Thap Cham City

On November 8, comrade Tran Minh Luc, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, and delegates of the Provincial People's Council (constituency No. 7) had a meeting with voters in Thanh Son and My Huong wards (Phan Rang - Thap Cham City).

After listening to the report on the results of the 14th session of the Provincial People's Council; announcing the expected content and agenda of the regular session at the end of 2023 and the results of handling and responding to voters' recommendations in the previous meeting, voters of Thanh Son ward commented: It is necessary to resolve the situation of encroachment on roadsides and sidewalks for trading and business purposes, causing obstruction to pedestrians, disrupting traffic safety and urban beauty; strictly manage the construction of the Sustainable Environment Project - Phan Rang - Thap Cham City Sub-project to avoid prolongation; fire prevention and fighting work in apartment buildings is not guaranteed; restaurants and eateries on Hoang Dieu street dump waste into canals, causing environmental pollution, affecting people's lives...

Voters of My Huong ward proposed issues such as: Handling the situation of illegal parking causing traffic obstruction in alley 68 Ngo Quyen street; adjusting and extending street lighting time to suit winter weather; strengthening waste collection and environmental sanitation in business and food trading areas in Ward 2; paying attention to and promoting the work of preventing and combating corruption.

Speaking at the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council acknowledged the voters' enthusiastic opinions and responsibilities for the local development; at the same time, requested local Party committees, authorities, and functional agencies to receive and resolve quickly and thoroughly and inform the results so that voters can understand clearly.

At the conference, representatives of the Provincial People's Council reported the results of the 14th session of the 11th Provincial People's Council; announced the expected content and agenda of the 15th session of the Provincial People's Council and the results of handling and responding to voters' opinions and recommendations in previous meetings. Voters of Dong Hai ward reflected a number of issues such as: environmental sanitation at Dong Hai fishing port, encroachment on cemetery land for housing construction, the need to resolve the situation of people dumping wastewater onto the streets in wards 6, 7, 8; it is necessary to soon issue regulations and instructions on attaching house number plates for people...

Voters of My Dong ward proposed to promptly repair some degraded flooded roads; invest in and install a loudspeaker system to improve propaganda work, promptly resolve the waste situation in the Dong Ba market area; create conditions for granting red books to households who settled before 1975; step up propaganda to prevent dengue fever before the rainy season; promptly resolve the flooding situation in the park area of Ward 9; promptly stabilize rice prices...

On behalf of the provincial People's Council delegates, comrade Chau Thi Thanh Ha highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and contributions of voters; at the same time, informed voters about the development and socio-economic situation of the province in the past time. She requested that localities need to take advantage of resources from the national target program on sustainable poverty reduction, promote the effectiveness of livelihood models; pay attention to, promote propaganda, and tighten the situation of illegal housing construction and traffic safety in the area. In order to successfully implement the Resolution of the term, she hoped that people would continue to accompany and support the local government to complete the tasks of socio-economic development, building the locality to be increasingly rich and civilized.
