Summary of the emulation movement "For the poor - No one is left behind" for the period 2021-2025 and the Housing Support Project for the poor and near-poor for the period 2023-2025

In the 2021-2025 period, the emulation movement "For the poor - No one left behind" has received the attention, direction and participation of the entire political system and the joint efforts of the whole community. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province have mobilized over 83 billion VND to support the "For the Poor" Fund. From the fund, 1,099 solidarity houses have been built, 33 houses have been repaired; support has been provided to buy health insurance cards, production capital, and Tet gifts for the poor. The construction and implementation of sustainable poverty reduction livelihood models for the 2023-2025 period has also been effectively implemented by the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels. To date, the province has built 71 livelihood models, with a total cost of over 47 billion VND. At the same time, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee mobilized socio-political organizations, religious organizations and the Provincial Association for the Support of Poor Patients to sponsor and help 70 poor households in the province escape poverty sustainably...

Collectives and individuals received certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in implementing Project 384.

Regarding Project 384, by the end of 2024, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee had supported the construction of 569 houses for poor and near-poor households with housing difficulties, with a total amount of over 56 billion VND. Of which, the source from the Provincial "For the Poor" Fund was over 28 billion VND; the provincial budget supported 8.84 billion VND; local counterpart capital from the "For the Poor" Fund, materials converted to nearly 8.84 billion VND; counterpart capital of households was over 6 billion VND. The implementation of the project ensured the right subjects, objectivity, transparency and democracy. The houses were completed and handed over to families for use, ensuring requirements on quality and minimum area.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee emphasized that the implementation of the emulation movement "For the poor - No one is left behind" and Project 384 has brought about practical results, creating a widespread impact throughout society, thereby mobilizing many resources to care for the poor, helping the poor to rise up and stabilize their lives.

Comrade Le Van Binh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee delivered a concluding speech at the conference.

In the coming time, he suggested that the Fatherland Front at all levels and member organizations in the province need to: Step up propaganda work to raise awareness and sense of responsibility of all classes of people and businesses in joining hands to care for the poor; continue to have new, innovative, creative and drastic solutions in mobilizing and diversifying forms of mobilizing resources to support poor households; focus on completing the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province by the end of May 2025; build and improve the quality of sustainable poverty reduction livelihood models; do a good job of allocating, managing and using the "For the Poor" Fund and the Relief Fund; strengthen inspection, supervision, evaluation, commendation and reward of outstanding collectives and individuals in implementing emulation movements.

Individuals received certificates of merit from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province for their outstanding achievements in implementing the emulation movement "For the poor - No one is left behind" and Project 384.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 3 collectives and 3 individuals; the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee awarded certificates of merit to 5 collectives and 9 individuals for their outstanding achievements in implementing Project 384. The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee awarded certificates of merit to 5 collectives and 5 individuals for their outstanding achievements in implementing the emulation movement "For the poor - No one is left behind" for the period 2021-2025.
