As an official deeply involved in grassroots work, directly listening to the thoughts and aspirations of the people in the residential area, and following the 14th National Congress of the Party, I was particularly impressed with the message "the era of national resurgence." This is not just a slogan, but a clear affirmation of the country's new position after nearly 40 years of reform, when its potential, foundation, and national prestige have been elevated to a new level.
Looking back at the past term, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, especially the Covid-19 pandemic and the complex changes in the world situation, under the leadership of the Party, our country has maintained stability and sustained development. This reality further strengthens the confidence of cadres, Party members, and people in our residential area in the leadership's capabilities and wisdom in the coming period.
A key highlight of the 14th Party Congress, which has received particular attention from grassroots officials and Party members, is the determination to streamline the organizational structure. The rearrangement of administrative units and local government organizations aims to build an effective and efficient operating apparatus. Culture needs to be recognized as a crucial endogenous resource, contributing to expanding the creative space and improving the quality of national development; it should not stand on the sidelines of growth, but become the foundation shaping national character, social resilience, and the sustainable depth of development.
In the context of globalization and digital transformation, a new cultural mindset demands harmony between inheritance and innovation, between preserving identity and absorbing the best of humanity, and between creative freedom and social responsibility. Private education is expected to enter a new phase of development.
I believe that the 14th National Congress of the Party will make major, groundbreaking decisions, creating a solid foundation for the rapid and sustainable development of the country; and at the same time, opening a new phase of development with many opportunities and expectations for private education.
Over the past period, I have clearly felt that the education sector has received special attention through a series of specific policies, such as in Hanoi, the policy of waiving tuition fees, supporting school meals for primary school students - regardless of whether they attend public or private schools, along with the policy of rewarding outstanding students... These initiatives have profound humanitarian significance, creating practical motivation, and instilling confidence and enthusiasm in both teachers and students during the teaching and learning process.
However, along with that collaboration, we still have specific expectations.
First and foremost, I hope for more practical policies to ensure that private education develops on an equal footing, with a greater degree of autonomy, especially in the admissions process.
Regarding curriculum development, I expect more policies to support teacher training and infrastructure investment. With initiatives such as building STEM classrooms or implementing programs to send teachers for overseas training, I hope these policies will be expanded to private schools, thereby creating conditions for schools to improve the quality of teaching and learning, meeting the requirements of educational reform in the new era.
