General, Chief of the General Department of Politics of the People's Army Nguyen Trong Nghia

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission for Mass Mobilization, holds the position of Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.

On the morning of November 4, at the Presidential Palace, President Luong Cuong, Chairman of the National Defense and Security Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, presided over the ceremony to present the Decision to appoint the position of Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, and promote the ranks of General and Senior Lieutenant General to three senior military officers.

At the ceremony, authorized by the President, Comrade Nguyen Hoang Anh, Deputy Head of the Office of the President , announced the President's Decision to appoint Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, to hold the position of Director of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army, and at the same time promote his rank from Senior Lieutenant General to General./.
