To complete the goals, targets and tasks of the coming term, General Nguyen Tan Cuong requested the Party Committee of the 12th Corps to focus on leading and directing the implementation of a number of contents, specifically: Continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement the policies and directions of the Central Committee, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense. The focus is on the Resolution of the 8th Central Committee, Session XIII, on the Strategy for National Defense in the new situation and resolutions, strategies and projects on the military, national defense and national defense fields; resolutions of Party congresses at all levels; the direction of the General Secretary on the occasion of his visit and work with the Corps on August 5; concretize and determine policies and leadership measures close to the characteristics of the situation and tasks of the Corps. Proactively grasp the situation, strictly maintain combat readiness; promptly advise on effective handling of situations, avoid being passive and surprised, firmly protect territorial sovereignty, coordinate to maintain security and order in the area; timely and effective response to non-traditional security challenges.
