On December 10th, the People's Committee of Dak Lak province announced that it had issued a Decision approving the Dak Lak Provincial Digital Transformation Strategy – Focusing on the Development of Digital Data for the period 2025–2030.

Accordingly, the province has identified the development of digital data as the focus of digital transformation, playing a leading role in promoting digital economic growth. This is a key task in accelerating the province's digital transformation in 2025 and subsequent periods.

By 2030, Dak Lak province aims to achieve a comprehensive and synchronized digital transformation across the entire province; essentially completing the goals set by the Government in the National Digital Transformation Program to 2025, with a vision to 2030.

The province aims to become a mid-to-above-average locality nationwide in terms of digital transformation; to fully establish digital data infrastructure and a safe, convenient digital environment that maximally serves the needs of production, business, and people's lives...

The province will also build and refine digital datasets for the Agriculture and Natural Resources - Environment sectors; complete datasets related to labor, employment, war invalids and social affairs; develop software for managing databases to process administrative violations; complete the database system for the Construction sector in Dak Lak province; and deploy IoT applications in the construction and smart transportation sectors.

At the same time, Dak Lak will build a digital map of agricultural products, OCOP products, and rural tourism; build a digital school record portal and data warehouse, and implement digital school records in 100% of schools.

According to the leaders of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee: "In the coming period, the province aims for 100% of shared and specialized databases to have information security measures implemented according to the 4-layer protection level and model; and to fully implement cybersecurity protection activities for information systems in accordance with the law on cybersecurity."
