Man stabs woman over suspicion of stealing lipstick.

On the afternoon of November 4th, the An Giang Provincial Police announced that they are investigating a case of intentional injury that occurred in Tay Phu commune.

At approximately 7 PM on October 29th, Ms. VTKT (25 years old, residing in An Chau commune, An Giang province) went to Mr. NTK's house (residing in Tan My hamlet, Tay Phu commune) to settle a debt issue.

Here, Ms. T. met Ms. D.TTN (30 years old, residing in Tay Khanh 2 hamlet, Long Xuyen ward, An Giang province). During their conversation, Ms. T. reiterated the loss of her lipstick, suspecting Ms. N. of stealing it, and demanded compensation from Mr. K.

When Ms. N denied the accusation, Ms. T used a black switchblade knife, approximately 23cm long, to stab Ms. N twice in the abdomen. She then left the knife at the scene and fled.

Ms. N. was taken by local residents to the My Phu Dong Health Station for first aid, and then transferred to An Giang General Hospital for treatment.

The case is being investigated and handled by the An Giang Provincial Police.
