Director Nguyen Quang Dung is out of critical condition.

"Returning from the brink of death, all I see is love!" - Director Nguyen Quang Dung began his post on his personal page with this emotional status update.

According to his account, in mid-March, during a routine work session, the director suddenly felt chest tightness and a burning sensation after attending three consecutive meetings. Initially, he dismissed it as just a symptom from eating spicy food, drinking too much coffee, or playing golf after a long period without practice.

"Every year I go for a general check-up and the results are never alarming, but this year I've been a bit busy and also a bit lazy, so I haven't had another check-up all year," he admitted.

When his chest pain returned in the evening, the director decided to wait until the next morning to attend his scheduled appointment. At the hospital, doctors discovered his cardiac enzyme levels were very high, diagnosing him with acute coronary syndrome and acute myocardial infarction. Coronary angiography revealed that one major blood vessel supplying the heart was completely blocked, and the other two were also narrowed.

Professor Vo Thanh Nhan personally placed a stent to open up Nguyen Quang Dung's blood vessels. The procedure lasted over an hour, and he remained fully conscious as he was only given local anesthesia.

After three days of hospitalization for monitoring, the director's health gradually stabilized. He expressed gratitude to the medical team for helping him overcome the critical condition, as well as the support from state and private health insurance in covering treatment costs.

"Crossing the line between life and death has made me grateful for the love of my family and loved ones who have been by my side every crucial second. When I was on the brink of death, all I could feel was all the love in this life," the director wrote.

Nguyen Quang Dung said he plans to make a longer and more detailed vlog about this experience, and also urged everyone not to be careless about their health.
