The mathematics exam, with nearly 3,000 students taking the test, was a full-page paper long, consisted of 4 questions, and lasted 120 minutes, on the afternoon of June 4th.

The High School for Gifted Students in Natural Sciences , Vietnam National University, Hanoi, is holding its 10th grade entrance exam on June 4th and 5th. Today, candidates will take the first round of Literature and Mathematics exams, and tomorrow they will take the specialized subject exam. Students can register for a maximum of 2 out of 5 specialized subject groups, provided the exam times do not overlap.

The admission score is the sum of the first round's Math score and the specialized subject score multiplied by a factor of two, with a maximum of 30 points. The Literature score is only a prerequisite and is not included in the admission score. Candidates must take all three exams, with no subject scoring below 4. The school does not add priority points.

The expected cut-off scores will be announced before June 15th.
