Who is Daruma Nihongo?
Daruma Nihongo is a Japanese language education system that pioneers Japanese language training for middle and high school students, as well as building a continuous learning pathway from grade 6 to university.
What is Daruma Nihongo's dream?
The founders of Daruma were all former students who participated in a pilot program for universal Japanese language education starting from junior high school, continuing their Japanese studies through high school, university, and ultimately studying abroad in Japan.
Having been exposed to the Japanese language from an early age, we have recognized many opportunities for self-development, and from the bottom of our hearts, we are grateful for and love Japan. However, currently, tens of thousands of students are studying Japanese, but they and their parents lack sufficient information, so they only study Japanese as a supplementary subject instead of investing in it as a strategic learning approach to gain a competitive advantage in exams and future jobs.
Therefore, we aspire to spread opportunities for learning Japanese to more young people, building an educational ecosystem that allows them to confidently study Japanese, pursue studies in Japan, and work in jobs that utilize Japanese. We affirm this aspiration through our slogan: Daruma Nihongo - Lifelong companionship, peace of mind in learning Japanese.

What has Daruma Nihongo accomplished?
- Regarding student numbers: Daruma has had thousands of students enrolled. 60% of students attend continuously from grade 6 to grade 12, intending to study and work in Japan.
- Regarding achievements: The top scorers in Japanese language in the university entrance exams from 2020 to 2023 were all Daruma students. In the Hanoi high school entrance exam, over 70% of Daruma students achieved a score of 9+, and over 30% achieved a perfect score of 10.
- In terms of information dissemination: We organized counseling workshops and communication campaigns to help parents and students gain a correct understanding of the advantages of knowing Japanese.
- Regarding the ecosystem: Daruma has completed a part of its ecosystem both vertically (learning path from middle school, high school to university, and into the workforce) and horizontally (developing soft skills and job skills alongside Japanese language training).
What are the expectations for Daruma Nihongo in the future?
As students mature and begin their studies and work in Japan, Daruma expects them to become a high-quality workforce contributing to the Japan-Vietnam economy . Daruma hopes that thorough preparation in Japanese language and social knowledge over a long period before going to Japan will improve the image of Vietnamese people in Japan and make a small contribution to the Vietnam-Japan cooperative relationship.
To achieve this, we are seeking opportunities to connect with educational institutions in Japan to enhance language and cultural exchange. It would be wonderful if we could offer more scholarships to support tuition fees for students with Japanese language proficiency certificates of N3 level or higher. In addition, Daruma also hopes to connect with partners to enrich its ecosystem on the Japanese side.
| Daruma's mission: Developing a learning strategy early on will help Vietnamese students use Japanese as a competitive advantage when taking entrance exams, winning scholarships to study abroad, and achieving high incomes in their careers. |
| Daruma's vision: To become a multifaceted and comprehensive Japanese educational ecosystem, maintaining its leading position in providing excellent quality education, giving parents peace of mind and learners success. |
