According to Thao Nguyen, AI is increasingly developing and being widely applied in all fields. When focused on and promoted appropriately, it will help with learning and research, including learning and practicing Japanese.

Nguyen believes that using AI is not to be lazy in thinking but to think more deeply and more selectively. You always think and use foreign languages with your own ideas and abilities, then connect AI to support, develop, and perfect. This is also the message Nguyen wants to convey when combining technology with the ability to self-study and develop your own language.

Besides applying AI in learning, Nguyen believes that thanks to studying and developing comprehensively in a multicultural academic environment with the support of teachers and friends, and participating in many useful exchange activities with experts and international students taking place at the University of Foreign Languages, Nguyen has been able to practice skills and foster a passion for learning and speaking Japanese.

With the first prize at the 8th National Japanese Speech Cup JLAN-Test, Phan Thao Nguyen received a special prize of a 7-day trip to Japan. Nguyen hopes to have the opportunity to experience and explore the local culture, learn more in Japan, and be inspired to learn foreign languages and integrate globally.

The contest is organized by the Japanese Language Education Association for Non-Chinese Language Countries (JLAN), GAG Fukuoka Japanese Language Academy, Japan with the support of the University of Foreign Languages (Hue University) and Dai Nam University.

Candidates go through a speech contest in under 5 minutes with evaluation criteria including: accuracy of Japanese, content of speech and presentation, expression, emotion, fluent language expression to attractive and persuasive topic and content.

Many diverse and interesting topics were presented by the contestants such as: Vietnam - Japan relations in the future from my perspective, AI and learning Japanese, topics related to the development of Japanese education in Vietnam...

According to the organizing committee of the national "Japanese Speech Contest", the 8th JLAN-Test Cup is an intellectual playground, opening up many opportunities for young people to demonstrate their bravery, ability to use Japanese and cultural exchange between the two countries.

By participating in the contest, contestants not only demonstrate their language talents but also contribute to promoting the friendly relationship between Vietnam and Japan, and at the same time, it is an opportunity for young people to share creative perspectives on practical issues in today's society.
