Many activities to support social security

On December 4, the Women's Union of Hoa Tien commune coordinated with the Children's Support Fund and the Youth Union of the People's Committee of Da Nang city to organize a fund to repair houses and support livelihoods for poor women; and donated study corners to orphans in the commune.

Through the City Children's Fund, the Australian World Relief Organization (AOGWR) supported the livelihoods of 10 disadvantaged women members with sewing machines, sugarcane juice carts, breeding chickens, breeding cows, and breeding pigs, with a total value of 60 million VND.

Supported 2 women members affected by natural disasters with house repair costs worth 17.5 million VND, sponsored by Children of Vietnam.

In addition, the City People's Committee Youth Union donated 10 study corners to orphans in the "Godmother" program, with a total cost of 15 million VND.

At the program, the Women's Union of Hoa Tien commune and the Youth Union of the commune, schools in the commune organized a signing ceremony of commitment to accompany the implementation of the "Godmother" program, period 2025 - 2030.

Previously, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Huong Tra Ward organized the awarding of support funds from the Relief Fund with a total amount of 860 million VND to households that suffered losses in recent natural disasters.

Specifically, 42 households whose houses were damaged by the tornado received a total of 339 million VND for repair and recovery, of which: houses with completely blown-off roofs were supported with 14-20 million VND; houses with 60-70% blown-off roofs were supported with 7-11 million VND; cases with 50-60% blown-off roofs received 5 million VND. At the same time, 521 million VND was spent to support households whose crops and structures were damaged, with the amount of 1-10 million VND depending on the level of impact.

The Farmers' Association of Hiep Duc commune has just implemented the model "Foster child of the Association", sponsoring student Cao Thi Anh Thu (born 2010, residing in An Nam village, 10th grade student, Hiep Duc High School), orphaned father, living with mother in difficult circumstances. Accordingly, the Farmers' Association of the commune supports Anh Thu with 300 thousand VND/month until she turns 18 years old.
