Thorough preparation is essential, ensuring compliance with the law and proper procedures.
Recognizing the election as a central political task, Party committees and authorities at all levels in the province have focused on leading and directing the synchronized and rigorous implementation of each stage and step in accordance with the law. The consultation and nomination of candidates have been conducted democratically and objectively; the list, brief biographies, and action programs of candidates are publicly posted at the People's Committee headquarters and village/neighborhood cultural centers for voters to review and learn about.
In Tan Quang commune, there are 8,877 voters, distributed across 12 polling stations. To date, the local authorities have completed three rounds of voter registration review, ensuring no omissions or duplications. Election facilities have also been fully prepared, including 12 main ballot boxes, 12 auxiliary ballot boxes, and all necessary documents and seals as required.
Over the past period, the commune has organized meetings with voters to allow candidates to present their action programs and to gather feedback from the people. This feedback focused on practical issues such as rural infrastructure development, improving the quality of healthcare services, and creating jobs for young workers. These suggestions were compiled and forwarded to the candidates for their consideration and inclusion in their action programs.
Comrade Do Ha Van, Chairman of the Tan Quang Commune People's Committee, said: "We pay special attention to propaganda work to ensure that people understand the meaning and importance of the election. All preparations are carried out seriously and on schedule, ready for election day to take place safely, democratically, and in accordance with the law."
In Ha Giang 1 ward, election preparations are also being implemented comprehensively. The ward has 14 polling stations with over 17,300 voters. The voter list has been compiled, reviewed, and publicly posted at the ward office and polling stations. The posting was done within the stipulated time, creating favorable conditions for voters to check the information and promptly report any errors.

The trust and expectations are conveyed through each ballot.
Besides the well-organized preparations, a noticeable trend before election day was the close attention and monitoring of the candidates by the voters. In Thai Son commune, there are 11,732 voters, organized into 15 polling stations. Propaganda efforts were intensified through the local broadcasting system, billboards, posters, and meetings of Party branches and mass organizations. During the peak period, the commune organized over 10 mobile propaganda sessions, attracting a large number of people. Mr. Nguyen Viet Phuong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Son commune, shared: “This year, voters are very interested in the action programs of each candidate. Many people proactively seek information and frankly ask questions at voter outreach meetings. This shows that the spirit of democracy at the grassroots level is increasingly being promoted.”
In villages and residential areas, the atmosphere of exchange and discussion about the election is lively. From the elderly to youth union members, everyone is showing a sense of responsibility towards this important political event of the country.
Comrade Pham Duc Tuan, Secretary of the Party Cell of Group 7, Minh Khai Ward, Ha Giang 2, said: "The people in the group are all interested in following the list and action programs of the candidates, hoping to choose outstanding representatives who will represent the voice and aspirations of the people."
Sharing the same sentiment, Ms. Gia Thi Song, from Ha Ca village, Khau Vai commune, a young voter participating in the election for the first time, expressed: “This is the first time I have exercised my civic right, so I am very excited. I have researched information about the candidates to choose those who are truly capable, dedicated, and responsible to the people.”

On the eve of the National Election Day, it can be affirmed that thorough and serious preparation from the grassroots level is a crucial factor contributing to the success of the election. When the people's right to self-governance is guaranteed, and when each voter is clearly aware of their responsibility, then each ballot will truly become a symbol of trust and expectation.
The hallmark of democracy is therefore not only manifested on election day, but begins in the very preparation process today – where the spirit of responsibility, consensus, and trust of the people are being nurtured day by day, towards a great celebration for the entire nation.
