Matches between China, Thailand, and Indonesia.

This is the second time in 2024 that the Vietnamese women's futsal team has been invited to participate in an international friendly tournament for women's futsal. Previously, in July 2024, the Vietnamese women's futsal team participated in a friendly tournament in China. In that tournament, the Vietnamese women's futsal team defeated host China 4-1, drew with Iran 2-2, and drew with Uzbekistan 5-5, finishing second overall. Notably, Thanh Ngan of the Vietnamese women's futsal team won the "Best Player of the Tournament" award.

Returning to the upcoming NSDF Women's Futsal Championship 2024 in Thailand, the Vietnamese women's futsal team will face opponents including Indonesia, China, Taiwan, and host nation Thailand. To prepare for this tournament, coach Pham Dinh Hoang and his team have been training since September 9th at the District 8 Futsal Club Gymnasium in Ho Chi Minh City. A positive aspect of this training camp is that the players have just finished competing in the 2024 National Women's Futsal Championship, so they are still in good physical condition and form. Furthermore, the team is more competitive with the addition of several new players who have impressed in the domestic league.

The Vietnamese women's futsal team departs for Thailand.

According to the schedule, the Vietnamese women's futsal team will play their opening match at the NSDF Women's Futsal Championship 2024 against Taiwan on September 24th. Following that, coach Pham Dinh Hoang's team will face Indonesia on September 25th, China on September 26th, and conclude the tournament with a match against host nation Thailand on September 28th.
