DNO - Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has just signed a decision approving the investment policy for the North-South Expressway Expansion project in the eastern part of La Son - Hoa Lien section.

The North-South Expressway Expansion Project, eastern section of La Son - Hoa Lien, has a route length of about 65km. The starting point (La Son) is at Km0, connecting to the end point of the Cam Lo - La Son expressway, located in La Son town, Phu Loc district, Thua Thien Hue province. The end point (Hoa Lien commune) is at about Km66, Hoa Lien intersection connecting to the starting point of the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan route, located in Hoa Lien commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city.
This is a public investment project, group A. The total preliminary investment of the project is about 3,011 billion VND, sourced from the State budget. The project implementation period is from 2023, basically completed in 2025.
The Ministry of Transport is the project's governing body; fully responsible to the Prime Minister for the proposal to approve the project's investment policy and information and data in the project's pre-feasibility study report; organizing the preparation and approval of the project's feasibility study report in accordance with the provisions of law.
The People's Committees of the provinces and cities of Thua Thien Hue and Da Nang are responsible for organizing the construction and implementation of site clearance, resettlement; and land use purpose conversion (if any) in accordance with the documents approved by competent authorities on the scale, area, location and progress of project implementation, planning, and related land use plans.
