The Nam Tien 2 urban area in Van Xuan ward is one of the flagship projects, commenced on May 19, 2026. The project covers over 35 hectares, with a total investment of over 4,253 billion VND, located in the new development center of Van Xuan ward, with the advantage of convenient connections to National Highway 3, the Hanoi -Thai Nguyen Expressway, and the Ring Road 5.
According to the plan, the project includes 647 townhouses, 65 lakeside villas, and nearly 1,200 high-end apartments in 4 modern towers. Notably, Nam Tien 2 is located in an area directly connected to major industrial zones in the province such as Yen Binh, Song Cong II, Diem Thuy, etc., thereby meeting the housing and service needs of experts, engineers, and high-skilled workers working in Thai Nguyen .
Commenting on the local investment environment, Ms. Tran Thi Ga, Deputy General Director of Saigon Real Estate Corporation, said: Thai Nguyen possesses many advantages in terms of transportation infrastructure, land resources, and a favorable investment environment. The active support and cooperation of the province and local authorities have created favorable conditions for businesses to implement projects on schedule.
Not only Nam Tien 2, but the southern area of Thai Nguyen province is witnessing a strong wave of investment in new urban projects.
Also in Van Xuan ward, the City Home urban area project, invested by the joint venture of BNB Group JSC and CIPUTRA Thai Nguyen Co., Ltd., has just been launched with a scale of over 48 hectares and a total investment of over 1,200 billion VND. The project is comprehensively planned with social housing, townhouses, villas, commercial and service facilities, along with a system of green spaces and modern technical infrastructure.
According to Mr. Tran Xuan Truong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Van Xuan Ward, the fact that many large businesses have chosen to invest in the area shows the attractiveness and development potential of the southern region of Thai Nguyen province. These projects contribute to changing the urban landscape, while also creating more jobs, promoting trade and services, and improving the lives of the people.
In Trung Thanh ward, after 7 months since its commencement, the appearance of the Dong Cao - Tan Phu Urban Area Project, also known as Tan Phu City, has gradually taken shape. The project covers over 41 hectares, with a total investment of over 946 billion VND, and is located adjacent to the Hanoi - Thai Nguyen expressway, providing convenient connections to Hanoi, Bac Ninh , and major industrial centers in the North.
The highlight of Tan Phu City is its focus on developing a green urban area, with over 70% of the area dedicated to technical infrastructure, green spaces, and public areas. The first phase will provide approximately 750 real estate products, including 643 land plots and 107 townhouses.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thanh, Director of the Dong Cao - Tan Phu Urban Area Project Management Board, said: "We are focusing our human resources and equipment to accelerate the construction progress, striving to complete all infrastructure before the fourth quarter of 2028."
Practical experience shows that, along with the strong development of the transportation system and industrial zones, the southern gateway area of Thai Nguyen province is gradually forming new urban areas in a modern and integrated direction.
This process not only expands urban space but also improves the quality of life, attracts residents, promotes economic growth, and creates an important impetus for the sustainable development of the locality in the coming years.
