According to Mr. Truong Van Day, Secretary of the Party Branch and Head of Nhon Loc 1A Hamlet, Phong Dien Commune, the Party Branch directs the People's Committee, the Front Committee, and hamlet branches and groups to promote patriotic emulation movements, campaigns, cultural and artistic activities, sports, and the development of effective economic models... in order to attract members to participate. From there, they identify and nurture positive individuals to create a pool of potential Party members. At the same time, the Party Committee assigns specific tasks to official Party members to support outstanding individuals in their training and efforts to join the Party. With this effective and coordinated approach, from July 2025 to the present, the Party Branch has admitted 11 new Party members.
According to Mr. Le Hoang Dung, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Phong Dien Commune Party Committee, from the beginning of the year, the Commune Party Committee assigned specific targets for recruiting and developing Party members and directed Party committees and organizations at all levels to focus on implementation. Simultaneously, the Commune Party Committee directed Party committees, organizations, and socio-political organizations to strengthen propaganda and education on political ideology, revolutionary ideals, ethics, and lifestyle for the masses... “Thanks to doing a good job in recruiting and nurturing a large and outstanding force of the masses, since the establishment of the Commune Party Committee (July 1, 2025) until now, the Commune Party Committee has admitted 82 new Party members, bringing the total number of Party members to 1,548,” said Mr. Le Hoang Dung.
In order to create a source for developing new Party members, the Party Committee of Thanh Xuan commune pays close attention to monitoring and directing Party committees, Party organizations, the government, the Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations at all levels to innovate the content and methods of their activities, attracting more and more members to participate in their activities. At the same time, it directs the launching and promotion of patriotic emulation movements suitable to the local situation…
According to Ms. Le Ngoc Diep, Secretary of the Party Branch and Head of So Dua Lon Hamlet, based on the assigned targets, the Party Branch categorizes and selects outstanding individuals, compiling a list to send them to Party awareness training courses. The Party Branch assigns reputable full-time Party members to assist these outstanding individuals in their efforts to join the Party. During monthly Party Branch meetings, assigned Party members report on the strengths and weaknesses of these individuals so the Party Branch can provide feedback, guidance, and ensure they meet the required standards. Each year, the Party Branch successfully admits one new Party member.
Since the establishment of the commune Party Committee (July 1, 2025), the Thạnh Xuân commune Party Committee has admitted 75 new Party members, including 26 students from Võ Trường Toản University. Ms. Phạm Thị Thùy Dung, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People's Council of the commune, affirmed: “The majority of newly admitted Party members demonstrate a high level of pioneering spirit, exemplary conduct, and actively fulfill their assigned tasks, earning the trust and confidence of the people. The commune Party Committee will continue to direct efforts to strengthen the recruitment and introduction of outstanding individuals to the Party, contributing to building a Party organization that is large in number and strong in quality.”
According to a report by the Can Tho City Party Committee's Organization Department, in 2025 and the first months of 2026, Party committees and organizations at all levels will admit more than 5,500 new Party members. This result not only strengthens the number of Party members in the Can Tho City Party Committee but also makes a significant contribution to consolidating and improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party at the grassroots level.
