The Cua Ong Temple, a special national historical site (Cua Ong Ward), is always a popular destination attracting a large number of locals and tourists for spring excursions and worship. The peak season typically lasts from before the Lunar New Year until the end of the temple festival in February of the lunar calendar each year. To ensure the safety of the people and tourists, the People's Committee of the ward has proactively implemented a plan with specific coordination measures between the police, local security forces, and the Monument Management Board. Simultaneously, they have intensified coordinated efforts to raise awareness before, during, and after the festival, reminding people to strictly adhere to safety regulations regarding fire prevention, and to prevent social vices such as theft, fraud, and gambling.

The beauty of spring festival culture is further enhanced when each individual proactively behaves appropriately and consciously contributes to building a cultured environment, such as avoiding crowding and traffic congestion, ensuring traffic safety, maintaining environmental hygiene and food safety, and eliminating outdated and offensive customs.
January is the time when festivals are held throughout the province. Through these festivals, many beautiful aspects of traditional cultural life are revived, preserved, and promoted. Local authorities focus on adhering to regulations, decrees, and directives from the Government , the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the province to comprehensively review and inspect fire prevention and control plans, ensuring security and order, and facilitating convenience for people and tourists participating in the festivals.
Along with this, effective local self-governance models are being replicated, mobilizing the participation of each citizen with a spirit of self-prevention and self-protection. For example, establishing increasingly diverse channels for receiving crime reports and denunciations, tailored to specific practical conditions, is convenient and ensures the safety of all citizens participating in reporting crimes. The operation of hotlines ensures the confidentiality of information from whistleblowers, as well as the rights and benefits of whistleblowers as stipulated by law. Police at all levels assign commanders and officers to work 24/7 on a rotating basis to receive denunciations and reports; strictly implementing the process of receiving and verifying information to ensure no crimes go unpunished.

Observations from localities throughout the province show that inter-agency coordination in managing and organizing civilized and safe spring festivals is generally carried out effectively and efficiently, without shirking or avoiding responsibility. In particular, the intensified campaign to combat crime and protect security and order during the Lunar New Year and early spring festivals in 2026 is being continuously and decisively implemented by the provincial police force. Key focus areas include strengthening patrols and controls; closely monitoring the situation from early on, from afar, and from the grassroots; and accelerating the resolution of crime reports and denunciations. Simultaneously, efforts are being intensified to encourage the public to actively participate in the nationwide movement to protect national security, especially maintaining close ties with local police and neighborhood security guards for timely assistance when needed; proactively managing personal property in public places; and maximizing the effectiveness of public security camera systems.
The images of crowds of people enjoying the spring festivities safely and joyfully in the early days of the Lunar New Year 2026 (Year of the Horse) partly reflect the rapid and stable development of socio-economic life, with guaranteed social security. The strict enforcement of the law, coupled with the proactive and voluntary compliance of each citizen, is the foundation for a truly complete and joyful spring celebration.
