While Den Vau's "Cooking Rice for You" won Music Video of the Year, "A Loi" triumphed in the Song of the Year category. In addition, each rapper secured an individual win for their contributions.

The 18th Dedication Awards Ceremony took place on the evening of March 27th at the Hanoi Grand Opera House. The event was organized by the Sports and Culture Newspaper (Vietnam News Agency) in collaboration with several other units. Fifteen Dedication Awards trophies were presented, representing fifteen recognitions and expressions of gratitude to inspiring artists and athletes.
At this year's awards, the two male rappers Den Vau and Double2T deservedly won two Dedication Awards.
Den Vau received a "hat-trick" of nominations and won two categories: Music Video of the Year with "Cooking Rice for You" and Male Singer of the Year. Meanwhile, Double2T won New Artist of the Year and Song of the Year with "A Loi."
With "Cooking for Children," Den Vau spread positive energy and raised over 400 million VND. The entire amount was sent to underprivileged children in mountainous regions.
The rapper from Quang Ninh received much praise for his meaningful project. He acknowledged that his efforts were still too small compared to the contributions and dedication of previous generations.
"Den and his team argued a lot about how to present the visuals, and then decided to prioritize authenticity and sincerity," Den Vau shared on the stage of the Dedication Awards. He hopes his music videos will be a tool to evoke love in each viewer, and also hopes that children in mountainous areas will continue to receive more attention.

With Double2T (real name Bui Xuan Truong), the song "A Loi" proves that it is precisely through creativity and explosive energy that the essence of ethnic minority regions shines. Establishing a style that is "Authentic Mountain People," as the title of one of his songs suggests, Double2T inspires people to live proudly and authentically.
This is Double2T's first time being nominated. With two Dedication Awards, he continues to challenge himself with new, humanistic music projects.
Alongside the wave of youth music, the "Vietnamese Birds" program, a tribute to the late composer Van Cao, was presented by composer Do Bao, who won the Dedication Impression Award. Through this program, he wanted to convey a message of unity among all the people of Vietnam.
This is the second year the Dedication Awards have been divided into two categories: Music and Sports. The four categories include Sports Personality of the Year, Young Sports Personality, Sports Achievement of the Year, and Aspiration for Dedication.

A series of outstanding individuals in fields such as swimming, sepak takraw, and football were honored, most notably swimmer Nguyen Huy Hoang. He is considered one of the best swimmers in Vietnam and the region.
This coming June, he will participate in the Olympics for the second time (Olympic 2024 in Paris), facing new challenges and opportunities to demonstrate his aspiration to contribute to national sports.
The award was initiated in 2005. The criteria for the Dedication Music Award are based on two factors: public opinion and discovery, which serve as the main basis for nomination and voting. Therefore, creative discoveries may be widely known to the public (public opinion factor) or may not be widely known to the public, but they are truly practical and creative discoveries (discovery factor).
The Head of the Organizing Committee – Journalist Le Xuan Thanh (Editor-in-Chief of the Sports and Culture Newspaper) affirmed that the individuals honored here were not solely recognized by the Sports and Culture Newspaper. Each nomination and winner was deservedly recognized and voted on not only by professionals but also by audiences nationwide. All results were quantified into points through a rigorous award mechanism.
The performances by big names like Tung Duong, and promising young talents such as Double2T, Van Mai Huong, and Den Vau... energized the audience. Each song was like a message, reminding us of the spirit of dedication, responsibility to ourselves and the community, and working together to create a better society.
