According to Variety , actor Anthony Guidera, who starred in popular Hollywood films such as The Godfather (part 3), Species, The Rock , and Armageddon , passed away on June 6th at a hospital in the Los Angeles area. He was 65 years old.

Earlier on May 11th, Anthony Guidera suddenly collapsed at his home. He was then rushed to the hospital and kept alive by life support for about three weeks.

His wife, Valarie Anderson, confirmed that doctors were unable to determine the cause of his cardiac arrest. According to her, the removal of life support was done at the actor's prior request, so that he could return home in his final hours.
