Just days before the fifth night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026, which will take place on the evening of June 27th, the organizers announced that all grandstand tickets have been sold out. Due to the increasing demand from locals and tourists, grandstand A4 with over 2,000 seats will be opened for viewing from this night onwards, instead of waiting until the final night as originally planned.
The addition of grandstand A4 demonstrates the strong appeal of DIFF 2026, as the festival consistently delivers impressive fireworks displays, attracting a large number of domestic and international tourists to Da Nang.

According to observations, from the very first nights, the stands of DIFF were always full. Many areas along the Han River, Dragon Bridge, Tran Thi Ly Bridge, and free fireworks viewing spots were also crowded with people from very early on. The festive atmosphere spread throughout the city with many art programs, entertainment activities, food, and vibrant tourism services.
Travel agencies and ticket distribution systems report a surge in demand for tickets for the final two nights of DIFF over the past few days. Tickets for the fifth night – the final qualifying round – are already sold out. The opening of grandstand A4 will give more visitors the opportunity to enjoy the performances considered the most captivating of the festival season.
On the night of June 27th, the DIFF 2026 qualifying round will conclude with the theme "Vision," featuring a competition between Skylighter Fireworks Pty Ltd (Australia) and Macedos Pirotecnia Lda (Portugal).
The Australian team promises to deliver a performance combining famous songs by Coldplay, Bon Jovi, and Avicii with modern fireworks effects, conveying a message of aspiration for growth and the spirit of overcoming limitations.

Meanwhile, Macedos Pirotecnia – a Portuguese fireworks brand over 90 years old, which won the "Most Innovative Team" award at DIFF 2025 – will return with a performance that uses light as a symbol of connection, innovation, and forward-looking vision. The contrasting styles between the two competing teams are expected to create one of the most captivating shows leading up to the final.
Beyond creating excitement in the stands, DIFF 2026 continued to have a positive impact on Da Nang's tourism industry. During the festival, many hotels along the Han River and the coast maintained high occupancy rates, especially on weekends. Restaurants, cafes, and fireworks viewing cruises also saw a significant increase in visitors, with many venues fully booked days in advance.

DIFF 2026 lights up Da Nang's summer tourism season.
According to travel agencies, the number of tourists choosing tour packages that include watching fireworks continues to increase compared to the same period last year. Besides enjoying DIFF, many tourists extend their stay to explore more entertainment, resorts, and culinary destinations in Da Nang, as well as other famous destinations in Central Vietnam.
The early opening of grandstand A4 not only meets the practical needs of tourists but also further affirms the growing attractiveness of DIFF. The festival is considered an important driving force for the development of tourism, services, and the night-time economy of Da Nang, while contributing to enhancing the image of the destination on the international tourism map.
