To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), Central Retail Vietnam Group is organizing a series of events titled "Proud of Vietnamese Agricultural Products 2025," running continuously from now until May 7th, at GO!, Big C, and Tops Market supermarkets.

At the Go! Thang Long hypermarket (Cau Giay district), typical Vietnamese agricultural products, from fruits and vegetables to processed foods, are piled high on the shelves, attracting many consumers from Hanoi to visit and shop.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung (residing at alley 12 Mac Thai To, Cau Giay district) enthusiastically shared that the fruits here are attractively priced, fresh, delicious, and have a clear origin.

In particular, for this year's April 30th holiday, Central Retail's supermarket system is offering discounts of up to 50% on over 1,000 products, ranging from fresh and processed foods, wines, beers, soft drinks, to fashion clothing, local specialties, along with many attractive gifts.

According to observations by reporters from HanoiMoi Newspaper, shopping malls such as Aeon Mall Ha Dong (Ha Dong district), Vincom Mega Mall Smart City (Tay Mo, Tu Liem district), Go! Thang Long… are always packed with people, especially in the food and beverage areas.

"Although I have to wait, I find it less tiring than having to leave the city these days. This morning, I read in the newspaper that the elevated section of Ring Road 3 and the Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway are experiencing traffic jams stretching for tens of kilometers," said Minh (from Nghe An province).

AEON department stores and supermarkets nationwide have extended their operating hours, opening from 8 am to 11 pm.

With a five-day holiday period, AEON expects a 15-20% increase in customer traffic compared to normal days, especially in the evenings – peak hours for shopping and dining. The value of purchases is also expected to increase by approximately 5-10%, primarily focusing on ready-to-eat food, essential groceries, beverages, and fast-moving consumer goods.
