On April 25th, in Cao Bang , on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 / April 30, 2025), a delegation from the General Department of Logistics and Technical Services (HC-KT), led by Lieutenant General Do Van Thien, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the General Department of HC-KT, organized a pilgrimage to the historical site, respectfully offering incense and flowers at the Tran Hung Dao Forest National Special Historical Site (Tam Kim commune, Nguyen Binh district) and presenting gifts to wounded soldiers, relatives of meritorious individuals, and policy beneficiary families in Nguyen Binh district.
At the Tran Hung Dao Forest National Special Historical Site, the delegation respectfully offered incense and flowers, bowed their heads in reverence, and commemorated the contributions of General Vo Nguyen Giap and the 34 soldiers of the Vietnam Liberation Propaganda Team.

Before the sacred altar of General Vo Nguyen Giap and other heroic martyrs, Lieutenant General Do Van Thien emphasized: Eighty-one years ago, in Tam Kim commune, Nguyen Binh district, the Vietnam Propaganda and Liberation Army - the first main force of the Vietnam People's Army - was established with 34 soldiers. As part of the program, the delegation visited and presented 130 gifts (worth 1.5 million VND each) to representatives of policy beneficiary households in Nguyen Binh district, Cao Bang province.
Speaking at the meeting and gift-giving ceremony, Lieutenant General Do Van Thien expressed that, in keeping with the national tradition of "remembering the source when drinking water, repaying gratitude," the General Department of Logistics and Technical Services visited and presented gifts to wounded soldiers, relatives of martyrs, families of meritorious individuals, and policy beneficiary families in the locality. The gifts may not be large, but they are filled with the warm affection of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense , and the Logistics and Technical Services Corps. He hoped that these families would continue to overcome difficulties and strive for a more prosperous life, contributing to the development of the locality.
