On behalf of the Kandal province delegation, Mr. Nut Puthdara expressed his deep gratitude for the warm and thoughtful reception from the leaders of An Giang province. On the occasion of the traditional Vietnamese Lunar New Year, Mr. Nut Puthdara wished the leaders, armed forces, and people of An Giang province a new year filled with good health, happiness, prosperity, and many successes.

Mr. Nut Puthdara, Deputy Governor of Kandal Province, delivered a congratulatory speech.
The Deputy Governor of Kandal Province stated that in 2025, Kandal Province achieved many socio -economic successes, notably in economic growth, transportation infrastructure, and especially investment in an international airport. Strengthened security and crime prevention efforts have created a stable environment for citizens and businesses.
Kandal Province hopes to further strengthen its neighborly relations, friendship, and comprehensive cooperation with An Giang Province in important areas such as border security, crime prevention, border marker management, and exchanges between organizations and associations of the two provinces, contributing to maintaining peace, stability, and development in the border region.

An Giang Provincial People's Committee Vice Chairman Le Van Phuoc delivered a speech at the reception.
Speaking at the reception, Vice Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Van Phuoc said that in 2025, An Giang province's GRDP growth rate will reach 8.39%, ranking first in the Mekong Delta region and 14th out of 34 provinces and cities nationwide.
For the period 2026-2030, An Giang province aims to achieve an 11% growth rate. In terms of social welfare, the province has implemented many activities to care for the people during Tet (Lunar New Year), especially policy beneficiary families, people with meritorious services, and ethnic minorities.

Leaders of Kandal province extended New Year greetings and presented gifts to leaders of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee.
Over the past period, the cooperative relationship between An Giang province and Kandal province has continued to achieve many outstanding results. On November 27, 2025, the leaders of the two provinces co-chaired a conference to summarize cooperation in 2025 and agree on the direction for implementation in 2026, creating an important foundation for the agencies of both sides to effectively implement the agreed contents.

Representatives from Kandal province presented gifts to representatives from An Giang province.
The two provinces have closely coordinated in ensuring border security, combating cross-border crimes, and creating favorable conditions for trade and import/export activities of businesses and border residents. By 2025, the total import and export turnover between the two provinces is estimated to reach over 555 million USD, an impressive figure clearly reflecting the potential for cross-border economic cooperation.

Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province, Le Van Phuoc, emphasized: "Vietnam and Cambodia are two close neighboring countries with a long-standing traditional friendship, nurtured by many generations and developing increasingly well."
An Giang province hopes to continue receiving close cooperation from the Kandal provincial government to strengthen the friendly and comprehensive cooperation between the two provinces; enhance people-to-people exchanges, especially among the younger generation, to jointly preserve and develop the Vietnam-Cambodia relationship in an increasingly strong manner.
