Newly established enterprises decrease, registered capital increases

According to the Department of Planning and Investment of Hai Duong province, from the beginning of 2024 to March 20, the whole province had 387 newly established enterprises with a total registered capital of more than 3,700 billion VND. Although the number of newly established enterprises decreased by 14%, the charter capital increased by 12% compared to the same period last year. During the same period, the whole province also had 131 more branches and representative offices of enterprises and 208 enterprises registered to resume operations. The newly established enterprises mainly registered for multi-sector production and business activities focusing on transportation, garment, construction, processing, etc.

Currently, Hai Duong has nearly 20,000 operating enterprises with a total registered capital of more than 220,000 billion VND.
