Ngoc Ha Ward actively contributed to the overall success of the September 2nd Festival

On August 24, Ngoc Ha ward carried out many activities to ensure the success of the second parade and marching rehearsal in the area.

Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Ngoc Ha Ward, Cao Thi Que Huong, said that the Women's Union of the ward has prepared 1,500 afternoon meals and 750 snacks at night to support the Police and Military forces who are performing the task of ensuring security and order for the second parade rehearsal and march in the area.

"Each meal and cake delivered to the on-duty force shows the affection and responsibility of Ngoc Ha people in general and the Women's Union of the ward in particular for the Great Ceremony," said the Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Ngoc Ha ward.

During the day, the Youth Union of Ngoc Ha ward organized a "Green Sunday" campaign, focusing on sweeping, collecting garbage, removing advertisements, and cleaning the route the parade passed through.

In just one morning, the streets became cleaner and more spacious. The activity contributed to building a civilized lifestyle, while spreading the sense of responsibility of young people in preserving a green - clean - beautiful environment.

Previously, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ngoc Ha ward called on all people, agencies, units and enterprises in the area to join hands and actively participate in the activities to welcome and respond to the Anniversary and parade with a spirit of solemnity, solidarity, civilization and responsibility.

Organizations and families in the area decorate the streets, hang national flags, banners, and propaganda slogans from August 18 to September 5, creating a spacious, bright, and exciting space; maintaining security and order, environmental sanitation, ensuring a bright - green - clean - beautiful landscape.

The ward also calls on each citizen to become a "friendly ambassador", ready to support and guide; and at the same time, to the extent possible, join hands to share: Provide drinking water, seats, shelter from the rain and sun, support the use of free toilets... so that everyone who comes to Ngoc Ha can feel the hospitality, warmth and friendliness.

Enterprises, business households, service establishments, supermarkets, restaurants... ensure price stability, improve service quality, strictly implement regulations on food safety, environmental hygiene, ensure fire prevention and fighting, and at the same time implement practical support, incentive and discount programs, contributing to serving the people and tourists when coming to Hanoi and Ngoc Ha ward.

The consensus and joint efforts of each individual, family, collective, agency, unit and enterprise will be an important factor contributing to the success of this important event, affirming the tradition of patriotism, solidarity, creativity and hospitality of the Party Committee, government and people of Ngoc Ha ward.

Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Ngoc Ha Ward, Cao Thi Que Huong, said that at 5 p.m. on August 24, while the forces were on duty to serve the general rehearsal for the parade and the second march, a child got lost and entered the ward police station. The Women's Union and ward police officers quickly assisted the child and contacted the family to pick him up to ensure his safety.
