According to Mr. Pham The Dung, Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, signed by General Secretary To Lam on December 22, 2024, affirmed: "Breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, and digital transformation are the main driving forces for the rapid and sustainable development of the country."

Furthermore, Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW dated May 4, 2025, of the Politburo on the development of the private economy also emphasizes that: "Private enterprises - especially SMEs - need strong support to innovate their production and business models, apply modern technology to improve productivity and competitiveness."

In Vietnam, the vast majority of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), accounting for over 97% of all businesses, are still grappling with the question: innovation is necessary, but where and how should they begin? This is precisely why the Innovation Support Center - Department of Innovation, along with pioneering digital transformation units and partners, have collaborated to develop the SME DX 10K program series.

Regarding the role of technology, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hieu, General Director of TECHVIFY Company, commented that AI has become a familiar and simple tool today. "Any business can apply AI - from office operations, task assignment, customer care to production and business processes," Mr. Hieu said.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hieu affirmed that AI does not replace humans but helps them work smarter. According to him, the practical values that AI can bring are: optimizing operations - reducing costs - increasing speed - enhancing customer experience.

Furthermore, Mr. Hieu stated that TECHVIFY is also undergoing a significant transformation from a technology startup into a comprehensive digital transformation partner. In response to Resolution 57, the company has shifted its focus from overseas markets to investing in solutions for the Vietnamese business community.

At the event, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) shared the practical challenges they faced during their digital transformation. Experts analyzed and discussed these issues to find suitable solutions for each business.
