According to Mr. Pham The Dung, Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW signed by General Secretary To Lam on December 22, 2024 affirmed: "Breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation are the main driving forces for rapid and sustainable development of the country".
In addition, Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW dated May 4, 2025 of the Politburo on private economic development also emphasized that: "Private enterprises - especially SMEs - need to be strongly supported to innovate production and business models, apply modern technology to improve productivity and competitiveness".
In Vietnam, the majority of small and medium enterprises, accounting for more than 97% of the total number of enterprises, are still struggling with the problem: knowing that innovation is necessary, but where and how to start? That is also the reason why the Center for Innovation Support - Department of Innovation, together with pioneering units in digital transformation and accompanying partners, have jointly built the SME DX 10K program series.
Regarding the role of technology, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hieu, General Director of TECHVIFY Company, commented that AI has become a familiar and simple tool today. "Any business can apply AI - from office operations, task assignment, customer care to production and business processes," said Mr. Hieu.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hieu affirmed that AI does not replace humans but helps them work smarter. According to him, the practical values that AI can bring are: Optimizing operations - reducing costs - increasing speed - improving customer experience.
In addition, Mr. Hieu said that TECHVIFY is also in the process of strongly transforming from a technology startup company to a comprehensive digital transformation partner. Responding to Resolution 57, the company has shifted from foreign markets to investing in solutions for the Vietnamese business community.
At the event, small and medium-sized enterprises shared practical difficulties in the digital transformation process. Experts analyzed and discussed to find the right direction for each enterprise.
