Driven by his love for his homeland, Mr. Dinh Hoang Tinh, who has over 10 years of experience as a tour guide, opened the "Season of Rising Winds" cafe in 2024. The idea for the cafe stemmed from Mr. Tinh's deep connection to the rice fields, the golden rice harvests, and the fertile silt of the floodwaters...
From the cafe, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Co To Mountain, Dai Mountain, and Cam Mountain.

The unique feature of this restaurant is its rustic yet poetic atmosphere. A simple thatched roof stands amidst the fields, a 50-meter-long wooden bridge spans the rice paddies, fishing rafts are set up, and small boats are moored beneath rows of vibrant yellow water hyacinths when the water rises. In the distance, the majestic Co To mountain casts its reflection, connecting with the mystical That Son range, creating a magnificent backdrop for this rural scene.

Mr. Tinh explained that the rice fields here have two main seasons. From December to June is the rice season, filled with the fragrant aroma of ripening rice. In August, the upstream waters bring in silt, ushering in the flood season which lasts until November. At that time, the rice paddies are flooded, transforming into lakes like mirrors reflecting the clouds and sky. Tourists can experience traditional activities such as setting traps, dismantling fishing nets, checking fishing gear, picking water hyacinths, and picking carambola.

Guests visiting the cafe will have a different experience at any time of day. At dawn, the mist lingers over the water, and the first rays of sunlight cast a golden glow on the young rice fields, creating an unforgettable scene of tranquility.
As evening falls, the sunset shines brilliantly at the Mùa Gió Lên (Rising Wind) cafe.

At sunset, as the fiery red sun gradually disappears behind the Co To mountain range, the entire space is bathed in a magical orange-purple hue, leaving many tourists mesmerized. The period from 2 PM to 6 PM daily is also the busiest time for the cafe, as it's cool and offers a stunning view of the sun setting behind the mountains.

Mr. Nguyen Dan Anh, a tourist from Can Tho City, shared: "This is a familiar meeting place for young people who love taking photos. No matter where you sit in the cafe, you can easily get amazing pictures. But more importantly, the feeling of being immersed in nature, gazing at the lush green rice fields, and seeing the majestic mountains right before your eyes is truly incomparable."

Ms. Tran My Duyen (a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City) was delighted with the flood season experience: "This is the first time I've paddled a boat through the flooded fields, picking water hyacinth flowers while listening to the chirping birds. The scenery here reminds me of films about the Mekong Delta, but it's even more beautiful in reality."

Meanwhile, Mr. Pham Quang Huy (a tourist from Dong Thap ) chose to stay at the restaurant from early morning until late evening to fully enjoy the day: "The sunrise here is pure, the air is fresh, and in the afternoon, it's enchanting with the sunset covering the fields. I feel like I'm reliving my childhood connected to the rice paddies, with the lively sounds of frogs and toads croaking when the flood season arrives."
This place has its own unique and beautiful scenery in every season.
