The close friends have traveled to 4 European countries including: France, Greece, Switzerland, and Iceland. The entire trip lasts 20 days with 8 flights, costing about 240 million VND/person.
“The two of us have been friends for 15 years. Thao is currently doing business in Russia, and I am doing business and living in Hanoi. To accompany this trip, Thao and I arranged to meet in France. After that, the two began their journey to Europe together," Ms. Huong recounted.
Because they are both self-employed, the couple is quite proactive with their time. Previously, the two had traveled together to countries such as Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Russia...
“The reason I chose to go to Europe was because I wanted to hunt the aurora borealis in Iceland. October-November is the time when the aurora is most likely to appear. In addition, we also spend time admiring European autumn," Ms. Huong shared.
Five years ago, Ms. Huong learned about the aurora hunting experience in Iceland online. “According to people's rumors, if people see the light of the aurora, they will wish for it. This is the motivation for me to be determined to go to Iceland, taking more than 5 hours of flight," the Hanoi tourist shared.
The close friends planned the trip a year ago. They applied for a visa 6 months in advance, but because they were freelance workers, the procedure was very difficult. "I wrote a long letter, quite "smooth" and expressing my sincerity to send to the French embassy, luckily it was approved on time," Ms. Huong recounted.
The couple checked in at some famous destinations in Paris (France) such as the Louvre museum, Disney park,...
The couple experienced many destinations together and "reaped" different emotions. In France, they enjoy looking at magnificent buildings, ancient artistic architecture mixed with romance. "The people here are extremely close, friendly and polite," Ms. Huong shared her feelings.
In Greece, they chose to go to Santorini - a beautiful arc-shaped island located in the southern Aegean Sea, about 200km from mainland Greece. The couple was infatuated with the fairyland-like scenery: clear, blue sea water, white and green houses, sparkling and peaceful.

European autumn also adds sweetness and romance because the roads are covered with maple leaves that are turning yellow, orange, and red.
"Switzerland in reality is beautiful and sparkling like a picture, both peaceful and charming, the lake surface and waterfalls are all clear," Ms. Huong said.

However, the place that will captivate couples the most is probably still Iceland. At this time, anywhere in Iceland you can hunt auroras. This is also the reason this country attracts a large number of tourists to visit.
“On our last trip, we stayed for 6 nights in Iceland and were lucky to have 3 nights to hunt for the aurora borealis. But it's also difficult because the aurora appears quite suddenly. Sometimes we would receive news of the aurora borealis at 9-10 p.m., so the two of us hurriedly got dressed to hunt all night. This is truly a very memorable memory!”, Ms. Huong excitedly recounted.
Not only the aurora, according to Ms. Huong, ice caves, glaciers or igneous mountains that have existed for millions of years are also a feature of nature and landscape in Iceland. The nature here is completely formed by nature, without any intervention from human hands.

At the end of the trip, the young couple parted ways to return to their countries, but the echoes of the trip still remained with both of them.
Next time, they plan to go to Harbin (China) together and experience the New Year's Eve countdown here. In 2024, both will go to Germany to watch football.
