MU's squad promises many changes next season.

After a disappointing start with a series of inconsistent matches, the Portuguese coach is under pressure to make a comprehensive overhaul if he wants to realize his signature 3-4-3 tactical philosophy.

Currently, most of the players in the MU squad are not really suitable for the system that Amorim applies. The striker pair Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee do not bring the necessary sharpness, while the wing, which requires players with the ability to attack and defend tirelessly, lacks quality personnel.

Goncalo Inacio, Amorim's former student at Sporting, is considered a strategic link in the center of the defense, partnering Harry Maguire and youngster Leny Yoro. In goal, although controversial, Andre Onana can continue to be trusted as the transfer budget needs to be prioritized for other positions.

An ideal formation in Amorim's 3-4-3 formation could be Onana - Inacio, Maguire, Yoro - Frimpong, Mainoo, Ugarte, Shaw - Fernandes, Watkins, Dibling.

Amorim's success at Old Trafford is not only about tactics, but also depends on whether MU can bring in the right person, in the right role, at the right time.
