Manchester United's dream team for next season

The 2025 summer transfer window will be the biggest test for Ruben Amorim's future at Manchester United.

After a disappointing start marked by a series of inconsistent results, the Portuguese coach is under pressure to undertake a complete overhaul if he wants to realize his signature 3-4-3 tactical philosophy.

Currently, most players in the MU squad don't really fit into Amorim's system. In attack, Ollie Watkins is seen as an ideal addition. With 43 goals in the last two seasons, the Aston Villa striker promises to help MU solve their finishing problems. Notably, Marcus Rashford's future is uncertain, and a swap deal is entirely possible.

MU could use Rashford as part of a swap deal for Watkins to save on costs.

In addition, Southampton's young talent Tyler Dibling, despite being only 19 years old, is also being considered as a long-term investment, although his £100 million valuation is a significant challenge for the Old Trafford club.

In goal, although still controversial, Andre Onana may continue to be trusted as the transfer budget needs to prioritize other positions.

An ideal lineup in Amorim's 3-4-3 formation could be Onana - Inacio, Maguire, Yoro - Frimpong, Mainoo, Ugarte, Shaw - Fernandes, Watkins, Dibling.
