Dam Duong Thanh, 5A-21, English Language major
Life is certainly a long journey with many forks in the road. And sometimes when faced with big decisions, we will feel hesitant and apprehensive. When preparing to enter the "gate" of university, I also struggled a lot, wondering if I could do it, if the trade-off was worth it... There is a saying that inspires me a lot: "From day one to day one". Indeed, when you believe in yourself and constantly explore , every step brings new opportunities, whether you succeed or fail. Difficulties are not a reason to give up, but an opportunity to prove yourself, practice and grow more mature. I hope you can focus on your interests and strengths, always try to develop them, because passion is the guiding light to success. Wish you all good luck and confidence in the upcoming journey!
Nguyen Chi Thanh, 1TD21, Multimedia Communications
“I love HANU 1 day, that is every day”. For me, HANU is home, a place that lights up my dreams and inspires me to always try. Hello, I am Nguyen Chi Thanh, I am currently a student majoring in Multimedia Communications, Class 1TD21. I am also a bilingual MC and a VJ with the desire to spread good values. “If you have enough ability, all opportunities will come to you”. I always try so that one day in the near future I can reach the opportunities I always desire. And we all do the same, we all have dreams. So why don’t we try together?
Minh Hien, 1NB21, Japanese Language major Honestly, when I was still a student, I was also very confused about my direction. But by some chance, today, I have become a student of Hanoi University. As a third-year student, I realize that the environment is a very important factor in personal development. And indeed, HANU is an extremely wonderful environment for studying as well as practicing soft skills. I always appreciate the saying: "If you don't walk today, you will have to run later". I believe that all of our efforts and perseverance today will be rewarded accordingly. Therefore, you should always keep your spirit up, strive to improve your knowledge to prepare for the upcoming difficult National High School Exam to be able to achieve the highest results! HANU always welcomes all of you!
Le Dinh Tuan Anh, 2H22, Korean Language major “Dreams are not something that is available, nor are they something that cannot be had. Dreams are like a road that does not exist, but people will explore and overcome it.” As young people in the new era, Tuan Anh hopes and wishes that we always believe in ourselves and our abilities. Never limit yourself with seemingly insurmountable barriers. Find and develop your passion, first of all, the field of study and school that we truly love. Because only when we work and study with passion, can we be comfortable and confident to achieve our goals.
The world is changing rapidly, so to survive and develop, we need to constantly update our knowledge, skills and new thinking. Finally, remember that success does not come from luck but from perseverance, effort and determination. Always keep the faith and never give up halfway. Hopefully HANU will appear on your upcoming path and “Brings you to the world”.

Le Y Vi, 1I-23C, Faculty of Italian Language “A great success often starts with small actions” For me, one of my remarkable achievements is being able to set foot in my dream school - beloved HANU. Sometimes, when I think back to my high school days with so many brilliant memories, I wonder: If I hadn't stayed up that night to write each sentence, hadn't skipped meals to solve a math problem, hadn't cried because my test scores weren't as expected, then maybe I wouldn't have become a HANUer now. The same goes for you, you're not alone on your journey in life, your parents, teachers and friends are all silently cheering and supporting you. Don't let them down or your future, just try a little harder, the finish line is very close!
Ngo Minh Quang, 9T-20, Chinese Language major Hello, Quang Bay Mau here. I am very happy to meet everyone and at the same time extremely honored to be the Image Ambassador of HANU in 2024. I want to spread the most genuine and positive messages of myself in particular and HANU in general to everyone. 2k6, in just a few months you will have to embark on a new journey. “Scary news is, you're on your own now. But the cool news is, you're on your own now!”, keep moving forward with all your abilities. I wish you 2k6 to be calm, confident, and try 200% of your effort to fully realize your dreams. Waiting for you at HANU!
Luu Hoai Nhu Y, Business Administration In just a few days, you will enter the extremely important university entrance exam. I know this is an extremely difficult decision stage, but remember: "There are no limits on what you can achieve with your life, except the limits you accept in your mind." Be confident in your abilities. Every effort, every hour of hard study, every time you overcome difficulties are solid steps leading you to success. Don't let worries or lack of confidence discourage you. Believe that you can, and you will do it. Face each challenge with optimism and determination, you will discover the hidden strength within you. I believe that the results will not negate the efforts you put in. I wish you all the best and see you all a beautiful day at HANU :33
Duc Minsu, 3M23, major: Marketing “Life is like a Christopher Nolan movie. You can never understand what is going on.” But that is actually the most magical thing. You can never know what will happen next, what the future will be like, or why there are a billion crazy things that test your compassion, question your core values, hide your dreams and then steal the unconditional love you deserve. So if, no, definitely, on the day the sky of our soul is filled with storms, be quiet and listen to your heart whisper, calm your veins to listen to your will whisper, it is the burning flame of passion that will light up the long road ahead, leading us through the unpredictable rainy days. Don't let fantasies fool you. Don't let hesitation hold you back. You will never be able to predict, nor hold your destiny in the palm of your hand. Just let your core values guide you, the road ahead will certainly be full of excitement and challenges. —---- “Life is like a Christopher Nolan movie. You never understand what is going on” But it is the funniest part. You will never know what will happen, how the future could be or why there are thousands of obstacles waiting for you, testing your self-compassion, questioning your intrinsic self-identity, blocking the path to your glorious dream and stealing the unconditional boundless love that you always deserve. I believe that by following the instructions of our mind, listening to the rhythm of our heart, relying on our passions, all of darkness and dullness will become just like a black dot adorning the magnificent “The Starry Night”. So, don't allow the uncertainty of the future to intimidate you, don't let what has not arrived yet bother you. You will never understand what's going on or guess what's waiting for you behind that door. Let your intrinsic worth illuminate the path ahead, guiding you toward the next chapter of your journey.
Hoai Lam, 1TC-23, Banking and Finance When I was studying for the university entrance exam, there were many times when I was tired, stressed, and afraid of not meeting my and my family's expectations. At that time, my father told me: "Results never betray your efforts." I thought about that saying and tried my best until the end. The endless days of studying for the exam, the nights of practicing and reviewing literature without stopping are now just fleeting moments, memories. When I received the news that I had passed HANU, no words could describe my joy and happiness. After days of hard studying, I now confidently entered university, attended the oath-taking ceremony of the school, and studied in a dynamic and healthy environment. Next to my name now is the name of the school that I have always dreamed of. I thank myself for constantly trying so hard, so that now I do not have to say the two words "regret"
Nguyen Tuan Nam, 2K21, Business Administration major I always feel very lucky and proud to be a HANUer. HANU has given me many opportunities to express myself and learn and try every day. For me, HANU is like my second home. I always believe that: "You don't need to be great to start, but you need to start to be great". I wish the candidates in the upcoming university entrance exam will complete the exam well and achieve their dreams. I wish you all to be calm, confident, and victorious. Keep up the good work, we're almost there! See you, the "presidents" at HANU.
Cao Thi Khanh Huyen, 3D20, Major: Tourism and Travel Services Management “Once you believe, you will definitely do great things” My sister once told me that and it really became a guiding principle for all my actions. For me, the first step to making the right decisions is always believing in yourself. After 4 years of accompanying HANU, I realized that if you truly believe in HANU and believe in yourself, all miracles can happen. HANU truly “brings you to the world”, or at least Hanu will “bring the world to you”. I hope and wish that you will have the confidence to make the most appropriate decisions. See you at HANU!
Luu Dieu Linh, 1N23, Russian Language major at Hanoi University. The National High School Exam is coming up soon. I would like to send a message to the candidates preparing to take the exam: Remember, this world will not disappoint every moment of effort and perseverance. Time will not disappoint those who always try and be brave. Because we deserve great things. Those great things may come slowly but will definitely come. I wish you all confidence and calmness to complete the exam and wish you all the best results. Hopefully HANU will be the next stop on your learning journey.
Khanh Linh, 4Q21, International Studies Major It has been 3 years since I entered the school. HANU is a place that not only brings a sense of closeness, but also always creates motivation and opportunities for me to develop. Throughout these years, I have always believed that "all efforts are rewarded". As long as you are patient, make an effort, and do your best, you will surely reap the long-awaited success. The high school graduation exam is approaching, sending it to all of you who are working hard to reach your dreams. Even though it may be a bit tiring at times, try your best so you won't have any regrets. I believe you can do it! Good luck on your exam!
Doan Thao, 1TT21, Business Communications major Thinking back, the image of me hunched over my desk with piles of exam papers was a story from 3 years ago. Surely now you are a little worried, a little nervous, wondering if you have tried hard enough or not, along with countless other worries. In French, there is a saying “Un plein effort est une pleine victoire”, which I roughly translate as: Your best effort is your complete victory. You have always tried your best during this time and you just need to shine your best. Be confident and calm, students. See you at HANU one day!

Duong Phuong Thao, French Language major There is a saying that I often use to remind myself before major events in life: "It's not just the result that matters, but the journey of patience and learning." I'm sure that during the time of effort, you have gained a lot of experience and knowledge. So don't put too much pressure on yourself, but be confident in your own abilities.
Thanh Thuy, 1B-21, Portuguese Language major So the university entrance exam is coming very soon and you are certainly going through extremely difficult and stressful days. You have tried your best, so keep your determination and confidence in what you have prepared. The gate of your dream university will be waiting for you. HANU deserves to be the place for you to entrust your 4 years of youth and continue writing your dream!!! "The difficult moments will soon pass. Be persistent and keep going, you will achieve what you want." I wish you all the success you deserve in the upcoming exam. Success is not only a destination, but also a journey. Believe in yourself and enjoy these memorable days!
