Dam Duong Thanh, 5A-21, English Language major
Life is a long journey with many twists and turns. And sometimes, when faced with decisions that will bring about major changes, we feel hesitant and apprehensive. As I prepared to enter university, I pondered a lot, wondering if I could do it, if the sacrifices were worth it… There’s a saying that inspired me a lot: “From day one to day one.” Indeed, when you believe in yourself and keep exploring , each step brings new opportunities, whether you succeed or stumble. Difficulties are not a reason to give up, but an opportunity to prove yourself, to train and grow. I hope you can focus on your interests and strengths, always striving to develop them, because passion is the guiding light to success. I wish you all good luck and unwavering confidence on your journey ahead!
Nguyen Chi Thanh, 1TD21, Multimedia Communications major
“I love HANU every single day.” For me, HANU is home, a place that ignites dreams and inspires me to always strive for success. Hello, my name is Nguyen Chi Thanh, and I am currently a student majoring in Multimedia Communication, Class 1TD21. I am also a bilingual MC and a VJ, with the desire to spread positive values. “If you have the ability, opportunities will come to you.” I always strive to one day reach the opportunities I desire. And we all have dreams. So why don't we all try together?
Minh Hien, 1NB21, Japanese Language major . To be honest, when I was a high school student, I was very uncertain about my future direction. But by some twist of fate, today I have become a student at Hanoi University. As a third-year student, I realize that the environment is a very important factor in personal development. And indeed, HANU is an incredibly wonderful environment for learning and developing soft skills. I always cherish the saying: "If you don't walk today, you will have to run later." I believe that all our efforts and perseverance today will be rewarded accordingly. Therefore, please always maintain your spirit, strive to improve your knowledge and prepare for the challenging National High School Graduation Examination to achieve the highest possible results! HANU always welcomes all of you!
Le Dinh Tuan Anh, 2H22, Korean Language major : “Dreams are not something readily available, nor are they something impossible to achieve. Dreams are like an unpaved road, but people will explore and overcome it.” As young people in the new era, Tuan Anh hopes and wishes that we always believe in ourselves and our abilities. Never limit ourselves with seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Seek and develop your passion, starting with the field of study and the school that you truly love. Because only when you work and study with passion can you feel comfortable and confident in achieving your goals.
The world is changing rapidly, so to survive and thrive, we need to constantly update our knowledge, skills, and mindset. Finally, remember that success doesn't come from luck, but from perseverance, effort, and determination. Always maintain your faith and never give up halfway. We hope HANU will be a part of your journey and "Brings you to the world."

Le Y Vi, 1I-23C, Italian Language Department: “A great success often begins with small actions.” For me, one of my most noteworthy achievements is being able to set foot in my dream school – the beloved HANU. Sometimes, I reminisce about my high school days with so many brilliant memories, and I ask myself: If I hadn't stayed up late studying, skipped meals to solve a math problem, or cried because my mock exam score wasn't what I hoped for, perhaps I wouldn't be a HANU student now. You too, you are not alone on your journey through life; your parents, teachers, and friends are all silently cheering you on and supporting you. Don't let them down, and don't let your own future down. Just a little more effort, the finish line is very close!
Ngo Minh Quang, 9T-20, Chinese Language major. Hello, this is Quang Bay Mau. I'm very happy to get to know everyone and also extremely honored to be the Image Ambassador of HANU in 2024. I want to spread the most genuine and positive messages from myself in particular and HANU in general to everyone. 2k6 students, only a few months left until you embark on a new journey. “Scary news is, you're on your own now. But the cool news is, you're on your own now!” Keep moving forward with all your might. I wish you 2k6 students calmness, confidence, and 200% effort to fully realize your dreams. Looking forward to seeing you at HANU!
Luu Hoai Nhu Y, Business Administration major. Only a few days left until you all take the extremely important university entrance exam. I know this is a very difficult and decisive period, but remember: “There are no limits on what you can achieve with your life, except the limits you accept in your mind.” Be confident in your abilities. Every effort, every hour of hard study, every overcoming of difficulties are solid steps leading you to success. Don't let worries or lack of confidence hold you back. Believe that you can, and you will succeed. Face each challenge with optimism and determination, and you will discover the hidden strength within yourself. I believe that the results will not negate the effort you put in. I wish you all the best and hope to see you on a beautiful day at HANU :33
Minsu Duc, 3M23, Major: Marketing “Life is like a Christopher Nolan film. You can never understand what’s going on.” But that’s precisely what’s most magical. You can never know what will happen next, what the future holds, or why there are so many crazy things that challenge your compassion, question your core values, hide your dreams, and steal the unconditional love you deserve. So if, no, certainly, on the day the sky of your soul is filled with storms, listen quietly to your heart’s whispers, be still to hear your will murmur, for the burning flame of passion will illuminate the long road ahead, guiding you through the unpredictable rainy days. Don’t let fantasies deceive you. Don’t let reservations hold you back. You can never predict or hold your destiny in the palm of your hand. Just let your core values guide you, the road ahead will certainly be full of excitement and challenges. —---- “Life is like a Christopher Nolan movie. You never understand what is going on” But it is the funniest part. You will never know what will happen, how the future could be or why there are thousands of obstacles waiting for you, testing your self-compassion, questioning your intrinsic self-identity, blocking the path to your glorious dream and stealing the unconditional boundless love that you always deserve. I believe that by following the instructions of our mind, listening to the rhythm of our heart, relying on our passions, all of darkness and dullness will become just like a black dot adorning the magnificent “The Starry Night”. So, don't allow the uncertainty of the future to intimidate you, don't let what has not arrived yet bother you. You will never understand what's going on or guess what's waiting for you behind that door. Let your intrinsic worth illuminate the path ahead, guiding you toward the next chapter of your journey.
Hoai Lam, 1TC-23, Finance and Banking major. When I was preparing for the university entrance exam, there were many times I felt tired and stressed, afraid of not meeting my own and my family's expectations. At that time, my father told me: "Results never betray your efforts." I thought about that saying and tried my best until the end. The endless days of studying, the nights of practicing exam questions and reviewing literature without rest, are now just fleeting moments, memories. When I received the news that I was accepted into HANU, no words can describe my joy and happiness. After those arduous days of studying, I am now confidently entering university, attending the school's oath ceremony, and studying in a dynamic and healthy environment. Next to my name is the name of the school I've always dreamed of. I am grateful for my continuous efforts, so that now I don't have to say the words "regret."
Nguyen Tuan Nam, 2021, Business Administration major. I always feel very lucky and proud to be a HANUer. HANU has given me so many opportunities to express myself and learn, striving every day. For me, HANU is like my second home. I always believe that: "You don't need to be great to start, but you need to start to be great." I wish all the candidates in the upcoming university entrance exam the best of luck in completing their exams and achieving their dreams. I wish you calmness, confidence, and success. Keep going, you're almost there! See you at HANU, "presidents"!
Cao Thi Khanh Huyen, 3D20, Major: Tourism and Travel Service Management “Once you believe, you will surely achieve great things.” My older sister once told me that, and it has truly become a guiding principle for all my actions. For me, the first step in making the right decisions is always believing in myself. After 4 years with HANU, I realize that if you truly believe in HANU and believe in yourself, anything wonderful can happen. HANU truly “brings you to the world,” or at least Hanu will “bring the world to you.” I hope and wish that you will all have the unwavering confidence to make the most suitable decisions. See you at HANU!

Surely, you are all feeling a little anxious and nervous right now, wondering if you've tried hard enough, along with countless other worries. There's a French saying, "Un plein effort est une pleine victoire," which I'll translate as: "Ultimate effort is a complete victory."
