Time flies! Only 12 days left until the 2024 High School Graduation Exam.

Facing an important milestone in life with an important exam, how are our students feeling?

Dam Duong Thanh, 5A-21, English Language major

Life is certainly a long journey with many forks in the road. And sometimes when faced with big decisions, we will feel hesitant and apprehensive. When preparing to enter the "gate" of university, I also struggled a lot, wondering if I could do it, if the trade-off was worth it... There is a saying that inspires me a lot: "From day one to day one". Indeed, when you believe in yourself and constantly explore , every step brings new opportunities, whether you succeed or fail. Difficulties are not a reason to give up, but an opportunity to prove yourself, practice and grow more mature. “I love HANU 1 day, that is every day”. For me, HANU is home, a place that lights up my dreams and inspires me to always try. Hello, I am Nguyen Chi Thanh, I am currently a student majoring in Multimedia Communications, Class 1TD21. I am also a bilingual MC and a VJ with the desire to spread good values. “If you have enough ability, all opportunities will come to you”. I always try so that one day in the near future I can reach the opportunities I always desire. And we all do the same, we all have dreams. So why don’t we try together?

Minh Hien, 1NB21, Japanese Language major Honestly, when I was still a student, I was also very confused about my direction. But by some chance, today, I have become a student of Hanoi University. As a third-year student, I realize that the environment is a very important factor in personal development. And indeed, HANU is an extremely wonderful environment for studying as well as practicing soft skills. I always appreciate the saying: "If you don't walk today, you will have to run later". I believe that all of our efforts and perseverance today will be rewarded accordingly. Le Dinh Tuan Anh, 2H22, Korean Language major “Dreams are not something that is available, nor are they something that cannot be had. Dreams are like a road that does not exist, but people will explore and overcome it.” As young people in the new era, Tuan Anh hopes and wishes that we always believe in ourselves and our abilities. Never limit yourself with seemingly insurmountable barriers. Find and develop your passion, first of all, the field of study and school that we truly love. Because only when we work and study with passion, can we be comfortable and confident to achieve our goals.

The world is changing rapidly, so to survive and develop, we need to constantly update our knowledge, skills and new thinking. Sometimes, when I think back to my high school days with so many brilliant memories, I wonder: If I hadn't stayed up that night to write each sentence, hadn't skipped meals to solve a math problem, hadn't cried because my test scores weren't as expected, then maybe I wouldn't have become a HANUer now. The same goes for you, you're not alone on your journey in life, your parents, teachers and friends are all silently cheering and supporting you. Hoai Lam, 1TC-23, Banking and Finance When I was studying for the university entrance exam, there were many times when I was tired, stressed, and afraid of not meeting my and my family's expectations. At that time, my father told me: "Results never betray your efforts." I thought about that saying and tried my best until the end. The endless days of studying for the exam, the nights of practicing and reviewing literature without stopping are now just fleeting moments, memories. When I received the news that I had passed HANU, no words could describe my joy and happiness. After days of hard studying, I now confidently entered university, attended the oath-taking ceremony of the school, and studied in a dynamic and healthy environment. Cao Thi Khanh Huyen, 3D20, Major: Tourism and Travel Services Management “Once you believe, you will definitely do great things” My sister once told me that and it really became a guiding principle for all my actions. For me, the first step to making the right decisions is always believing in yourself. HANU is a place that not only brings a sense of closeness, but also always creates motivation and opportunities for me to develop. Doan Thao, 1TT21, Business Communications major Thinking back, the image of me hunched over my desk with piles of exam papers was a story from 3 years ago. Surely now you are a little worried, a little nervous, wondering if you have tried hard enough or not, along with countless other worries. In French, there is a saying “Un plein effort est une pleine victoire”, which I roughly translate as: Your best effort is your complete victory.
