Da Nang City Fireworks Team has been undertaken by members of the Military Command of Da Nang City since 2008, matured over 15 years with 11 international fireworks displays in the city on the Han River.
The opening night performance tonight 2.6 of the home team has the theme "Da Nang - Tone of Peace", as a greeting sent to international friends to Da Nang City, with the message conveying sublime emotions, removing all distances, connecting love for humanity, so that international friends remember a city of Da Nang - Vietnam with many good memories, friendly people, peaceful city.

Da Nang Fireworks Team represents Vietnam to open DIFF 2023
The performance of the Vietnamese team consists of 3 parts: The Voice of Han Giang, the Rhythm of Da Thanh, and Da Nang - The timbre of peace. The performance features a combination of music and fireworks on the Han River, creating a space of interference between music and colors, honoring peace, and bonding the friendship of nations around the world.
In particular, the first part kicks off with soothing melodies and gentle color effects to awaken the audience's emotions.

The second part uses vibrant music including songs about Da Nang City, combined with brilliant effects, describing the rise of Da Nang people, together with the world overcoming difficulties after the pandemic. The music rhythm gradually increased along with the layers of fireworks, the density increased, especially the highlight transitions surprised the audience.
If part 2 creates a spectacular light picture in the sky of Da Nang and the Han River, part 3 is the main part of the theme, combining spectacular modern music, especially the explosive last minutes that made the audience clap non-stop. Thereby, sending the main message for this year's festival season about peace for mankind, prosperity and happiness everywhere.

Fireworks are brilliant in a corner of Danang sky
Right after the Vietnamese team's competition was the Finnish team. The competition used rock music in a 20-minute performance to stir up the festive atmosphere on the Han River at Danang International Fireworks Festival 2023.
At the last DIFF in 2019, Finland overtook the British team to win the crown. With determination to defend the championship, the Finnish team returns to DIFF 2023 with a performance called "Start my heart", and conveys the message that the world is resilient to overcome Covid-19, back with intense emotions and love.
The performance of the Finnish team favored vibrant rock music, changing the tempo with climaxes for the audience to sublimate and be satisfied.
The Finnish team started the fireworks story with rock songs such as Kickstart My Hear (Motley Crue), Listen To Your Heart (Roxette), Show Must Go On Queen... bringing a lively festival atmosphere, making the audience want to stand up and dance along.
These are classic rock songs that, when played with fireworks effects, recreate vibrant music festivals with hundreds of thousands of spectators at stadiums at the peak of rock history.
It was followed by upbeat tunes of "Circle of Life" - the Lion King soundtrack reminding of the period when the whole world united to overcome Covid-19, or Chiquitita (ABBA) which are both international songs with high popularity, with fireworks performance techniques, easy to touch the audience.
The Finnish team's performance ended with the epic sound of Creations of Earth (Thomas Bergersen), showcasing all the pyrotechnics techniques and the message calling for humanity to love and unite.
The audience was impressed by the particularly smooth performance with the coordination between the musical melody and each firecracker. Especially, the fast-paced rhythms that match the time of multi-stage artillery fire made the audience more excited
DIFF 2023 will take place from June 2.6 to July 8.7, with the participation of 8 teams, after Vietnam - Finland, Canada - France (June 10.6), Italy - Australia (June 17.6), Poland - UK (June 24.6). The final match took place on the evening of 8.7. Each team has 20 minutes to perform thematic fireworks displays each night agreed by the organizers, including: Peace for humanity, Love without borders, Conquer dreams, Dance of nature, World without distance.
