Comrade Nguyen Van Quang holds the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court.

On the afternoon of November 4th, in Hanoi , the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court announced the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Party Agencies on the appointment of members to the Party Committee Executive Board, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, and the Secretary of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court for the 2025-2030 term.

Politburo member and Standing Committee Secretary Tran Cam Tu, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Party Agencies, attended and presented the decision.

Attending the conference were Comrade Le Minh Tri, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, and Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court; and Inspector General of the Government Doan Hong Phong.

The conference announced Decision No. 15-QD/DU appointing Comrade Nguyen Van Quang to the Party Committee Executive Board, the Party Committee Standing Committee, and the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court for the 2025-2030 term.

Speaking at the ceremony, Standing Committee member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Party Agencies Tran Cam Tu highly appreciated the efforts and contributions of Comrade Le Minh Tri, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, during his time as Secretary of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court.

Presenting the decision and giving a speech assigning duties to Comrade Nguyen Van Quang, Standing Committee member of the Party Central Committee Tran Cam Tu stated that the Politburo decided that Comrade Nguyen Van Quang, a member of the Party Central Committee, would relinquish his position as Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Standing Deputy Chief Inspector of the Government Inspectorate; and would be transferred, assigned, and nominated for election by the National Assembly to the position of Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court and appointed as Secretary of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court.

Permanent member of the Party Central Committee Tran Cam Tu congratulated Comrade Nguyen Van Quang on assuming his new responsibilities; and at the same time, requested that he continue to utilize his experience, abilities, and strengths, and work together with the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

In his acceptance speech, Comrade Nguyen Van Quang expressed his sincere gratitude to the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies for their trust and confidence in assigning him the new responsibility of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court for the term 2025-2030.

Responding to the directives, Comrade Nguyen Van Quang stated that in his new position, he will work together with the Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court to unite, seriously, resolutely, and decisively innovate in implementing the Party's guidelines and policies in Party building, in conjunction with building the sector and fulfilling the political tasks of the People's Courts, especially the directives of General Secretary To Lam at the 80th anniversary of the People's Courts' tradition and successfully implement the Resolution of the Party Congress of the Supreme People's Courts for the 2025-2030 term.

Comrade Nguyen Van Quang also expressed his sincere gratitude for the contributions of Comrade Le Minh Tri during his time as Secretary of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court.

Comrade Nguyen Van Quang stated that he will continue to build upon the valuable results, achievements, and lessons learned from the People's Courts sector in previous terms, in order to build a clean, strong, and comprehensive Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court with sufficient leadership and guidance capacity.

At the same time, developing the People's Court system to meet the requirements of judicial reform and the building of a socialist rule of law state, worthy of the trust of the Party, the State, and the people, contributes to the country's entry into a new era of national progress.

Mr. Nguyen Van Quang was born in 1969 in Hai Phong city. He holds a Senior-level qualification in Political Theory and a Doctorate in Law.

During his career, he held positions such as: Deputy Director of the Supreme People's Procuratorate; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee (2015-2020 term); Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee (22nd term, 2020-2025); and Standing Deputy Chief Inspector of the Government Inspectorate.
