On the afternoon of September 29, comrade Pham Van Lap, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city inspected the damage caused by storms and tornadoes in Tan Minh commune and directed the work to overcome the consequences.

Comrade Pham Van Lap shared the difficulties, encouraged the affected households and praised the sense of responsibility, the quick participation of the Party Committee, the government and the forces of Tan Minh commune in mobilizing forces and means to support people to overcome the damage caused by storms. He also praised the sense of responsibility of Tien Lang Regional Electricity Company in quickly deploying human resources, overcoming the incident to supply electricity to serve the people on the evening of September 29, ensuring the daily needs of the people.

Comrade Pham Van Lap hopes that affected households will quickly overcome difficulties, and at the same time request local authorities to urgently review and count the damage and continue to mobilize forces to support people in overcoming the consequences of storms and storms to quickly stabilize their lives and production.

On this occasion, comrade Pham Van Lap presented 4 gifts from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city to 4 families in Tan Minh commune who suffered heavy damage due to storms and tornadoes. Of which, 1 gift was worth 20 million VND and 3 gifts were worth 10 million VND each.

According to a quick report from the People's Committee of Tan Minh commune, due to the influence of storm No. 10, at around 10:00 a.m. on September 29, a thunderstorm occurred in the commune, causing the roofs of two houses in Bac Phong and An Thach villages to be completely blown off. The thunderstorm injured two people.

In addition, many houses in 4 villages Nam Phong 1, Nam Phong 2, Bac Phong and An Thach (formerly in Kien Thiet commune) had their roofs partially blown off and 1 livestock farm had its roof blown off.

Tan Minh commune authorities quickly sent forces to the scene to help take the injured to the emergency room, clear up fallen trees and power lines on the roads, and move furniture to overcome the consequences of the storm.

On the afternoon of September 29, Tien Lang Regional Power Company and telecommunications units mobilized forces to participate in overcoming damage, restoring electricity and telecommunications networks to help people stabilize their lives soon.
